Not having read a single word about the conditions of his incarceration, but of course that won't stop me from weighing in, because, after all, this is Fark. He's probably in some minimum-security country-club type prison, or in a medical wing or nursing-home type wing somewhere on account of he's old enough and his docs and lawyers managed to whip up some dire medical conditions to make him eligible. Also, I think in some situations, at least in some prisons, prisoners on the "honor roll" do get privileges like being able to have TV's or radios. Of course the difference is, he hasn't done anything yet to earn the privileges, but heck, it's none of my business, and I just realized... I can't really be bothered enough to give a rat's cockroach's ass.

Anyone wonder who these people are who marry people who will be in prison for the rest of their lives? I know the article said he can get out at 88, but how little chance is there of Spector making it to that age? Actually, maybe not such a bad idea. You have to give her a little credit... you know he's guilty and going to prison. You let him crawl on you a couple of times before then, and while he's in jail, you do whatever you want to with his money, and then when he kicks the bucket, you're in the money. How much money must he have? 12 million on lawyers must be a drop in the bucket for someone who worked with the Beatles, no?
