Complaining about Bob's voice is the same as complaining that
Picasso painted both of the woman's eyes on the same side of her head or that 'Wealth of Nations' is too long: it has no bearing on the inherent ideas and genius of the works.

Look: I like music, even some crappy pop music that most everyone else considers junk.

However I am willing to give credit where credit is due, even to someone who writes a fun song that has a good beat and that you can dance to but Bob had written so many superb songs and is so exceptionally talented that he his mis-fires have great and interesting songs on them(Street Legal and Knocked Out Loaded? I'm lookin' at you).

And if you hate his voice go listen to New Morning and Nashville Skyline; the man could croon when he wanted to.

And Happy Birthday, Bob!

Street Legal, sure. Senor is an all-time-great. But Knocked Out Loaded??? Really?

Oh, and the last few since Love&Theft have not been as good as the critics said. But Love & Theft and Time Out Of Mind are awesome.

July 28th in Durham. Another go-round on the never-ending tour with the greatest classic act you've probably never seen live. Dylan's backup bands are nothing short of freaking awesome and his shows are always memorable.
