That's awful.
What the hell is wrong with the other two-thirds?

Cap Ten Oblivious 2009-05-24 11:25:32 AM
ummmmm..... call me a fattie, but food is definitely my priority. Granted, I dress like a slob and can't stand the smell of fancy perfumes, but I'd rather have a good juicy steak than a haircut any day.

A third of women could stand to miss a meal.

Speaking from a man's point of view, this is a win-win situation.

Done in three. I lol'd

Well, YEAH. With a sexy haircut we can look hot AND coerce men into buying us dinner.

:P

Which third, the legs?

/hates me some fat legs
//skinny birds ftw

Of course...we all know the hair is much more important than a sammich....

Yet another example of fashion sense clouding common sense. First it was wearing shoes 2 sizes too small to look good and now this?

I haven't had a haircut in almost a year and a half. Food is more important. Ukulele is more important. Soon laptop will be more important.

These are the same women who just don't understand that yes, there really is protein in semen, so yes, it is good for you.

Only because they have no concept of what it really means to go hungry.

So obviously one-third of British women don't have a clue as to what's really important in life and are probably superficial skanks.

1/3 sounds about right...shiat, that might even be generous

accelerus 2009-05-24 12:58:22 PM
this is amusing to me....

especially seeing as how I'm a guy, and just don't give a fark about my hair. And by that I mean, i give myself a buzz cut every few weeks with a home hair cutter thingy. It's cheap, easy, and i save lots of time and money on shampoo, and it looks pretty badass when i'm done.

Silly women and their hair, lol

OldScotch [TotalFark] 2009-05-24 12:58:24 PM
In other news, Britons don't know what "go hungry" means.

Same here but one step further.

My wife has me cut her hair with the clippers, too. When her hair gets in her eyes, it's time for another buzz cut ;)

As a fat chick with shiny, manageable hair, I'm a big fan of doing whatever works.

This.

Except for the dressing like a slob part. I dress more like a teenager :P Which I guess could be interchangeable depending on the teen.

There are two things you do NOT get in my way of obtaining: good food and sleep.

Violators of the above policy will be given "the look" and promptly told to EABOD and DIAF. That's if I'm feeling generous.

I like a good hair cut every once and a while, but going hungry because I want a hair cut? No thanks, I'll just grow it out and wear it up in a pony tail.

This list cracks me up! I really don't see any starving woman who isn't totally vapid choosing a brazilian or a good bottle of wine over a decent meal. However, I couldn't resist.

1. Regular haircuts 30%
If I hadn't had a good steak for a while and was given the choice between filet mignon and a haircut, I'd choose the filet and give myself a trim.
2. Good quality make-up 25%
Meh. All I need is a little mascara and a multi-shade bronzer.
3. Taxis home after dark 24%
That's what husbands are for.
4. Takeaways 22%
Uh, if you're eating takeout you're not eating rations.
5. Favourite perfume 19%
Food would win over perfume, hands down.
6. Luxury chocolates / ice cream 15%

Once in a while, ice cream IS a meal. And a little good chocolate goes a long way.
7. Good quality wine 9%
I'd settle for mediocre wine in a pinch.
8. Flowers 9%
I'm a florist, so this gives me a kick...
9. Touche Eclat 7%
Huh?
10. Professional waxing 5%
I can do the essentials myself, but I might skip lunch for the convenience of having it done for me.

Agreed. It's like the difference between masturbating and paying a hooker. I'd rather do it myself and spend the money on something cool.

I did the buzzcut thing one time. It was easy to take care of, dried fast. My husband wasn't impressed though and encourages me to be silly and get my hair cut by professionals.

UfarkHead 2009-05-24 01:28:48 PM
Makes sense. If a girl is slutty enough she can get a free meal.

unfarkingbelievable 2009-05-24 01:29:13 PM
Miss Smartass: And you probably look totally gorgeous just being the natural beauty that you are.

I absolutely agree with you. I enjoy being 'hygenically correct" every day, but all the extra, high-maintenance, bordering-on-plastic foofoo ain't for me. After all the good hygiene ministrations, just letting my curly hair airdry, sometimes a touch of makeup and I'm ready to conquer my day.

Obviously haven't learned yet that their worth in society is based on their looks. I blame the feminists.

After checking your profile, I have to agree with your husband. A buzzcut simply would not complement your boobies.

But paying for haircuts is lame, yes.

Grandmas Candy Dish 2009-05-24 01:38:18 PM
I cringe watching my girlfriend get monthly haircuts with a price tag of what I spend annually. This stretches to two years if I buzz my head myself.

mmagdalene [TotalFark] 2009-05-24 01:39:38 PM
HELLO? If you're single and relatively cute a good haircut = at least a month of free dinners.

"Hair IS sex" - Vidal Sassoon.

RandomAxe [TotalFark] 2009-05-24 01:47:11 PM
If you're single and relatively cute a good haircut = at least a month of free dinners.

The classiness of anyone going after free food this way aside . . . if you're a relatively cute woman, 95% of men (of straight men, even) DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR HAIRCUT.

Seriously, a $10 haircut of a style that works for you will get you just as much mileage as a $400 haircut. Most men won't even notice the difference. Studies have proven this, even if it weren't obvious.

A bad haircut is a bad haircut, but an expensive one is not automatically better. In fact, it's often worse.

I do have my own, but I know what you're saying. A husband is a husband, regardless of whose he is. Sometimes you have to use what's at hand.

1/3 of all women are vapid whores?

Shishkani 2009-05-24 02:10:22 PM
I go to an Aveda training school for haircuts so it costs $18 - I haven't got the 'shouldn't-be-going-to-beauty-school' student yet, at least. But since I trim my own bangs and only get a real haircut once every three or four months, I'm still getting a kick out of this thread.

/I only ruined them once, the first time
//It got better

ScottMpls 2009-05-24 02:14:28 PM
Is the OBVIOUS tag spending $200 for a cut today?

cryinoutloud [TotalFark] 2009-05-24 02:20:58 PM
I think the only time I've paid for a haircut was when my mom took me to the salon and made me get my waist-length hair cut off when I was 8.

Truthfully, I would be real scared to take a taxi that late at night. Going out that late, I'd rather be with good friends and probably wind up the designated driver to ensure we're all safe.
