My sister got tickets for this. She made my dad to buy her and I plane tickets and reserve a hotel for a week. Her concert got moved to March and she won`t be able to attend it cause of midterms. We`re still going to hit up London for July but won`t be at the concerts. I don`t really care cause I got a free trip out of it but my sister was super pissed.

Do you have a younger brother? Maybe you can get backstage passes.

The FAIL tag is for whoever bought tickets. I mean, do you honestly think the people at show #35 are going to get their money's worth? The guy is physically unable to make through 1 performance...who here thinks he can make it through 50 without postponments, delays, cancellations and a lot of general attention whoring?

You should have smelled this one coming. But then, subby has a nose for this sort of thing.

Theoretically, he could get better as the show progresses. I saw the Van Halen reunion tour late in the tour, and Roth was much better than in the youtube clips of the earlier performances. So theoretically, jackson could do the same, but the odds of him making it past the first week are pretty dismal.

Wouldn't their money be better spent hiring a Micheal Jackson impersonator? (assuming those still exist for some reason)

He's just going to be lip syncing any-damn-way.

This. And Vegas is a great vacation spot.

And a non-surgically altered one at that!

This dude just needs to assume his rightful place in society as a creepy Wal-Mart greeter. It's over, Jacko. You lived the dream. Fade out gracefully.

1988 called. Something about you having some advice for Michael Jackson.

Jacko reports that getting ready for all those shows makes him feel like a kid again.

Michael Jackson is like Julio Cesar Chavez at the end of his career. He asks for a chunk of the cash up front and then has "medical issues" that prevent him from actually performing. With Chavez even Don King was calling the guy a crook. I guess music just has fewer promoters with a grasp of the obvious.

OK, here's the part I don't get: how could he not be "ready" for the concert?

Let's get real here - he's going to be lip-synching anyway. And with such a big-budget set of concerts, he couldn't conceivably have any more help and assistance on the stage. Jacko's going to have huge teams of men and women doing everything for him.

What the fark does he even have to do, other than show up, look pretty, and bumble his way through a few half-assed routines? Even Britney could pull that off, even at the height of her train wreck.

It's Jacko. With a budget & crew like that, the show's going to be at least half decent, and the fans will love it no matter what.

He can't fail so long as he shows up. And he still can't even show up?

So what's holding him back?
