I think these guys have a ton of potential to really rip sh*t up...they're first album was great...but the second was lame. They don't live up to the hype, but they can write some good stuff. I would like to see them kick ass again.

I liked the first a lot, second less-so. Seemed a little more drawn out, if they get a little closer to the sound on the first album I will enjoy it more.

Check out The Last Shadow Puppets. I hear they are monkeys in disguise and it aint half bad. Their EPs have this great 60's Connery vibe going on.

Exactly. This band needs to slow down and take 3 credit hours of "mahavishnu orchestra", so they can learn 40 year-old musical concepts.

These guys are fan-farking-tastic. I really liked the first 2 albums, though the first more than the second. We'll see if they can pull this off.

I wonder if this will be like when The Killers singer said their latest album would be "working class music."

i didn't like it too much at first, but then it grew on me.

catchy and witty and slightly jagged/angular/guitarpop

I actually like both of their albums. Their B-Sides one was pretty good as well.

Though I still think Last Shadow Puppets > Arctic Monkeys.
