There's an American company that offers these as well, I saw something about them a few months ago on Discovery Channel or CNN or something.

Yes, please.

For an extra fee the pupils can plow their tank through an old car.

I think this would be fun for the whole family.

This just reminded me of the 1995 San Diego Tank Chase. One of the greatest police chases of all time.

I drive a Tank (new window)... But I upgraded the engine on it. :)

I think I need to move to Germany and knock some chick up there. That way I have a legitimate reason to beat my child when he doesn't get me tank driving lessons a few years down the line.

I'm a father, and what I REALLY want is for adults to stop buying each other gifts all the time. I dread gift-giving holidays anymore; they are far too frequent.

It's different for kids, of course.

I drove an M-88 once, and several MRAPs. Not the same, I know, but I still got the horn from it.

Seems like a good idea, although getting piss your pants drunk while pushing a wheel barrow full of schnapps around the countryside has a certain charm too.
Let's compromise; I'll get shiatfaced while driving a panzer full of schnapps around the countryside OK?

My sister did the tank driving thing at one of the many tank driving places here in the UK. It was not a tank but an APC though.

Screw that! I want to learn how to drive a tank!

But I still love my dad.

/I don't know if does know how to drive one, he was in the Army during Vietnam days, though, he wasn't in the War...

I drove an M3A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle, before I went over to the Light Cavalry world. Very fun. It's like driving a 30-ton go-kart.

Am I the only father who doesn't give a shiat about tanks? What I really want is a blowjob. I mean, not from my daughter, but she could get me a gift certificate for one.

Braindeath 2009-05-17 06:59:41 PM
1) I am uncertain if my dad would want this. I want this. He can come with me.

2) But the rowdy gangs of inebriated men are not to everyone's taste. The annual event has long been criticized by feminists. Germany's Family Minister Ursula von der Leyen, a mother of seven, has also urged dutiful dads to spend the day playing with their kids -- and be rewarded with flowers and chocolates rather than booze.

This makes me ashamed to have girl parts. I have never wanted a sex change before but I want one right this minute not to be the same gender as this woman.

Nobody's worried about the Germans teaching people how to drive tanks? It seems to me that we had some trouble with that sort of thing not too long ago....

FTL:

Those who don't mind an early rise have an opportunity to hike to the bottom of a 90-ft. waterfall and swim in its pool. But don't get too close to the fall, because you could get sucked in and have your head smashed against a rock and drown

Bahahaha.

Those do sound interesting, it's also nice to know that Spec Ops folks have non-combat/security roles after their service is up. A number of those look like quite a bit of fun.

"Germany's Family Minister Ursula von der Leyen, a mother of seven, has also urged dutiful dads to spend the day playing with their kids -- and be rewarded with flowers and chocolates rather than booze."

Here's a woman that's disconnected from the meaning of "Father's Day". This is like saying women should be happy to be taken to a football game for Mother's day and rewarded with lingerie. Flowers and chocolate are for women. Steak and BJs are for men. It's not that hard.

This. And preferably BJs from someone other than the wife...

And if he's still married to your mom, that would make him an ass.

Right now, I have a wife of 27 years, that I would love to spend a coupon day requiring much lip action (my usage). Unfortunately, she isn't feeling that (heavy sigh). More heavy sigh...

Seriously though, if dad and mom are still together, do something they'd both appreciate. A smart week-end at an upscale holiday inn would be an example.

Love the ones in your life while they are available.

Screw this. I want the hot chick for Father's Day. I gritted my teeth and "did the deed" last month with the ball and chain, so I totally deserve it.

Maybe you should share this with your wife? She might think it's funny also. Well maybe a little pathetic. But that's just how I think.

In my mind, I have no doubt what I'd like for father's day. And I pretty much know what won't happen... back to big heavy sighs.
