I never knew there was a video for this.

(remember 1980?)

No, I don't, subby. But then again, I was born five years later.

I still have the 45 of this somewhere in a closet. I never heard anything about these dudes again, but at least they knocked this one out. Better than the Beck cover.

Ugh. We had a guitarist who insisted we learn and play this song.

Every time we did, I expected people to jump onstage and beat our suddenly-lame asses up.

I remember 1980, but I barely remember this song.

No I do not because I am not an old man 5 years away from death.

Is the sad tag for that ugly ass bass?

Dammit. I really thought this was amazing Beck original. I just heard it a few nights ago on Dollhouse and it was a really nice call back to "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Still like Beck's version 1000 times better.

Neither the band name nor the song title rang a bell so I clicked on the link. The song didn't sound familiar at all either. Apparently I was fortunate enough to miss this when it was on the radio.

Sure, I remember 1980. First year of college, etc.
I also remember my reaction to this song back then:
pablum. Pure, 100% pablum.

I do recall this song, but only because I am an old man 5 years away from death.

Came here to say pretty much exactly this.

Loved this song when came out, always reminded me of 10cc's I'm Not in Love.

/off my lawn, now damnit.

Big fan of Beck, but I gotta go with the original on this one.

The beauty of the Korgis was it was the new decade and music was changing. The Cars and ELO were kicking ass and we liked it.

Now get the hell off my lawn before I break out the lawn darts and click clacks!

Bill Gates does a great job in this video, but I'm glad he stuck with his day job.

liked the hardcore breakbeat remix by NRG better.

Oh yes, 1980. The year my mom got diagnosed with cancer. What a great year that was.
