My life is far from perfect, but I simply can NOT imagine spending so much time disappointed, angry and terrified that the sky was about to fall.

How long can you go with so much hate, paranoia and outrage before it starts to take its toll on your health and sanity?

This goes for both sides - since I have actually met people from both sides with a rage factor that was so repulsive, it made friendship impossible.

I just can not stand to be around people who are so negative. Their families must be worn down. Their homes must be filled with tension and stress. It's sad that people let their hate consume them. Life is so short...

I never thought I'd see the day when a major political movement went completely, utterly stupid. It's entirely possible the GOP will fade away over the next couple of decades, replaced by a new conservative party consisting of the Blue Dog Democrats and former Republicans who jumped ship when Bush and Rush ran the thing into the ground at top speed.
