That's against all odds.

So when is the BAT-chomping rocker going into the stu-stu-studio to record a tribute covers album?

Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it.

The article didn't mention this, but at one point Phil sent Ozzy his contact information. Part of the E-Mail read;

"Ozzy, Ozzy don't you lose my number
Cos you're not anywhere
That I can find you
Oh now Ozzy, Ozzy don't you lose my number
Cos you're not anywhere that I can find you, oh no"

Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual.

In The Air Tonight is a good pop song.
The rest of Phil Collins' work, not so much.

Ozzy's a legend. He can like Tiny Tim and and no one will care.

Shouldn't that drug abusing dickhead have been dead 20 years ago? And what about Ozzy?

So when is Ozzy going to team up with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony?

What Ozzy really said was, "that was a nice dress and you spilled on it."

I used to love that song, my personal #1. But that ended over a decade ago.

In all honesty, it is a pretty good drum fill.

Thank you so much for posting that picture! The juxtaposition of the picture and the quoted text is amusing to me and, I assume, to many others! Quite the master of visual aids you are!

'Sussudio' in Ozzy-speak means "Sharon, I wet me-self."

Reminds me of finding out Johnny Rotten was obsessed with The Carpenters.

Collins once played drums at a Black Sabbath reunion show a while back.

Ozzy does email. The world is coming to an end.

Someone needs to start one of those threads along the lines of "Things Ozzy would say in an email" with the first entry being: "Heh Pall wot wuld yu think uf a dooet like me n Leeta Furd did bak in tha day it wuld bee so fabuloss warrrrballll gobbbity pooop. Luv yor frend Ozy"

Supper's Ready Ozzy. The squonk is done mediium well. If it sends ripples, it's just a trick of the tail. But you'll be entangled in the good taste, and you can sit back and watch the cinema show, and watch Sara Jane dance on a volcano. But you know what you like, you sick bastard, while you turn it on again in the cage.

Nice one. Though I don't think Ozzy would know all those.

Um, you're kidding right? The quote and picture are from the same movie... please say you are kidding and not being condescending to the poster that made the connection.

"In The Air Tonight" is one of those songs everybody likes. I once caught my dad doing the air drum fill. He's seventy-five.

Also, came for the "American Psycho" reference, leaving satisfied.

Maybe he just wanted to have a meaningful relationship with someone special.

Yes, yes he did. (pops)

I have some friends who are very pro-Sabbath whilst being rather anti-Phil Collins, so this video always makes their heads explode.

Not exactly news, or even Fark:

Surely everyone knows that the most hard-rockin' band Ozzy Osbourne has ever liked is the Beatles. Most of his record collection is stuff like Sinatra and Bay City Rollers.

I'm always amused by the fact that Phil seems likely to fall asleep at any moment. I guess there's no substitute for skill.

I liked Robert Plant's solo stuff with him on drums, but I'm probably about the only one.

Pretty cool if you ask me.

My favorite Genesis song: Mama (new window)

Because Brand X is awesome and musical whereas Genesis is lame and full of awful vocals.
