God, people got laid no matter WHAT, in the 70s, right? It's like Junior High now, but you don't need any talent, and you're teacher or priest gets to screw you.

thamike: you're

Your, You're, Yume'da't. It's all a blur when one's queer.

She's not a household name, but she's had an interesting career. LOTS of work with Clapton, sang the Mary Magadelene parts on the Jesus Christ Superstar album (including "I Don't Know How To Love Him" and "Everything's Alright"), plus some Saturday Night Fever Gibbs-brothers success. Nice to see her step up and knock out this song on guitar, such a great tune. It's always been the perfect song to hear at about 3:00 in the morning when the night's been rough.

Clapton had good taste, that's all I'm saying.

1) More white people singing like black people.
2) Winwood and Clapton were more talented white people.

/are we done now?

It seems to me a strange thing, mystifying.I don't object to her profession.I'd let her kiss me, stroke my hair. That'd be in my line.

All I'm saying is I'd let her cool down my face a bit.

I always thought she had a fantastic voice- what a shame that her career coincided with the Disco era, where three cords and a percussion machine made a hit.

Love that voice. Alas, my lawn. Could we start again, please?

Never heard of her, nice to put a name to some of the vocals I've heard in the distant past. What a lovely surprise. Thanks for whoever put this up on YT and whoever posted here to Old Ghey Fark Test.

"If I Can't Have You" I don't want nobody baby.... She sang that back in...1977-8 I believe, for the "Saturday Night Fever" Soundtrack. She was also Mary Magdalene in "Jesus Christ Superstar", THE movie.

/Know a little music trivia here and there. Had to compete with the little sister CONSTANTLY
//Yvonne Elliman can play the guitar? That's new to me...
