This could easily be cited incompletely or entirely out of context, particularly given the slant of the sites I've seen it reported at. Still, I am keeping an eye on this. It seems these reports are more or less saying "Be suspicious of anyone who doesn't fit the mold of average American citizen." It makes these reports on "dangerous extremists" pointless if you identify members of large, generic groups as potentially dangerous.

Both pro-life groups and PETA are relativly popular, and the majority of such aren't going to get more "extreme" than going to a peaceful protest.

I mean I like good hyperbole as much as the next guy, but come one. This is like complaining that a search warrant is out for a guy wearing a black hoodie, and saying, "HEY JUST BECAUSE I HAVE A BLACK HOODIE I AM NOT A CRIMINAL AARRRGGH!"

It's just things to keep an eye out for, not an indictment of everyone who has or does any of those things.

If you are an anti-immigration extremist, you are probably against driver's licenses for illegal aliens. However that does not mean that being against driver's licenses for illegals makes you an anti-immigration extremist.
