Too bad they have signed away the ownership of their recordings to Disney and the ownership of their intellectual properties to Unviersal Music Publishing.

"Our music is free! Free!!!" is a nice sentiment, but rings false from people who

a) don't own what they are offering to give away, and
b) have already been paid nicely for that music.

Well, yes. That brings up the point of how dumb you have to be to sign your life away for the vague chance of possibly making a dollar some day down the road.

A major label contract? That's more like the lottery.

I can tell by the fact that this topic has been up for half a day and will just finally break over a half dozen comments that this is a band that absolutely no one gives a shiat about.

Well, I don't like them, but I cannot really muster the energy to despise them either. I am guessing other may share my views.

My wife likes them. When I'm riding in her car I usually get stuck listening to them but I don't mind because she has much worse music in her car that she could select.

Yeah, writing songs and playing to massive crowds for a living must be such a drag.

So true. They were awesome before they sold-out.

Wait a minute...who the hell is Snow Patrol?
