I don't get it. Why have a meth lab in your home and your car? Was there not enough room at home for two meth labs? And if that's the case, why not leave the car in the driveway while you operate the second meth lab? Or- is their goal to provide their customers that fresh from the meth lab taste? And- was this mobile meth lab in a van, or just some beat up sub-compact? So many questions, so little answers...

And with a rig like that, their meth lab can be anywhere they want it to be. I wonder how many times that gatorade bottle's been used.

I've been looking for apartments and condos for rent, and I hear from landlords over and over again, "I don't care if you smoke pot or cigarettes, or raise bunnies. But please for the sake of god don't set up some kind of meth lab. Those things basically ruin a house."

I agree, the whole of the drug war should be focused on this kind of production no matter how big or small, they're all nasty.

Quite. It's not just for show that professional lab outfits have fume hoods and specialized waste disposal conduits.

Grow ops can do the same to a house, I have known a landlord who owned a home that had been used as such- unknown to them at the time. In the case of a grow-op, the humidity gets into the drywall, and so mold grows like a toxic jungle. The smell of marijuana and fertilizer also gets into everything, so between those two issues, you basically have to gut the place down to bare studs.

The worst part is, insurance doesn't cover the repairs. They won't pick up the tab if someone does something illegal. You're on the hook, whether you were in on the deal or not.
