this. when i read about these things, i always reflect on my own students, and try to understand what these people could possibly see in a teenage boy. my oldest students, they're 17 and 18. . .

While I don't necessarily believe this trend has spiked, merely reports are becoming less stigmatized (a boy tattling that he's getting some from an adult...seriously, stop wasting it) and therefore more public as well as passed via the media more often, but I see this weekly or more frequent occurrence as backlash against the stigma of men around children.

Still, have you ever been to Midland/Odessa Texas? I'm amazed there aren't people going batshiat crazy out there on a daily basis. It's the middle of absolute farking nowhere. Flat. No scenery. Nothing. Dust storms. That whole panhandle region up through Lubbock and Amarillo? No thanks!

My wife's company offered Midland/Odessa as a transfer opportunity once if she wanted it.
