Why is Bush hanging out in Canada so much? I mean it's not like we support him...

Two men enter. One man leaves.
Here are the rules:
Each contestant starts out naked.
Each of them is allowed their choice of clothing.
The choices are: a pink tutu or a diaper.
Both will be allowed to wear Army boots as long as they agree to prance around on their butts.
The weapons provided will be: icepicks and Vaseline™.
Two men enter. One man leaves.
It will be shown live on pay per view.

As long as we don't get a repeat of 2000. All of the experts cry about sex and violence on tv, but all I saw that year was Bush and Gore.

I'm sure they'll make nicey-nice and all, but it should still be pretty interesting to see them together.

And by "interesting", I mostly mean embarrassing for Bush.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about Subby...
Those are the two people I was expecting.

/What? Jeb and Chelsea were going to have a debate?

juniperwasting 2009-04-22 03:48:11 AM
Lets see, Rhodes Scholar, professional speaker, former lawyer. A man considered by both sides of the political aisle as being able to spin solid gold bullshiat from thin air.

vs.

A man who struggled to make it through college, ran an Texas oil business into the ground, and is considered by most historians as one of the worst presidents in the history of the nation.

Is this legal? Its like a dwarf tossing.

//would rather it was G.Bush sr. At least he can speak.

Phoenix_M 2009-04-22 03:48:46 AM
Bill Clinton and George H. W. Bush are very close, George considers him a son, Bill Thinks of 41 as a father. Since Bill's dad died before he was born & his step was a dick I think George was his first father figure he respected.

I don't think this will be a tough debate

Heh, yeah, but he's a much better liar than his son is.

I really wonder if his attempts at "unintentional" comedy will balance out any boos he might get?

Saving a whole row for "conservatives" isn't going to work this time...

Phoenix_M 2009-04-22 03:50:39 AM
yeah I know it's 43, I think Bill will be easy on him

No doubt. They're not even calling it a debate.

I came here to biatch about that. Seems as if subs just clawed at the first meme he/she/it could think of to submit the link first.

Are they here to get gay married? I hear some states allow that sort of thing now.

I know Software2 got to it first, but seriously, submitter, what the hell?

You break the deal, you face the wheel.

Now when men get to fightin', it happens here. And it finishes here. Two men enter, one man leaves.
And right now, I got two men. Two men with a gut full of fear.
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls.

Dying time's here.

GWB was obviously not good for America and made awful decisions; truly awful decisions. I just don't think he is quite as stupid as many people want him to be, and that is all the more tragic for everyone involved.

I hate when people say "I believe."

B-b-b-but Obama...

Befuddled 2009-04-22 04:58:04 AM
Honestly I do not understand Bill Clinton. He was politically assassinated so Dubya could get elected, now he wants to pal around with the Bushes. More and more I think less and less of Bill Clinton. It's almost like he intended to give the Republicans full control of government with his most expensive BJ ever (five trillion dollars and counting).

Not really. When Clinton was politically assassinated, Bush wasn't looking to be President (he was looking for the next GOP candidate, and, at the time, he wasn't in the running). It just worked out that way.

FarKnight 2009-04-22 06:49:01 AM
Actually, subby, those were indeed the Clinton and Bushes who first came to mind.

BTW, I feel strange saying this, but I think I miss Bush just a little bit.

MayorYana 2009-04-22 06:55:38 AM
Hmm, I'd pay to see a boxing match between those two. Bush has his days of being a surly coke head, and clinton has his days fending off the sexual advances of his wife.

But that said, I've still got clinton pegged as the winner at 7/1...

Any takers?

DarnoKonrad 2009-04-22 07:00:03 AM
I predict this will improve Bush's image. I also predict Cheney and his personal military industrial complex will contiue to throw stones from a glass house.

Too bad Admiral Stockdale's dead. I would have loved to seen a re-staging of that '92 VP debate just to hear him give Quayle and Gore more shiat.

George Clinton vs. a burning bush speaking with the word of God? I'm just not seeing it.

despite what you might want to believe the world has not been in conspiracy mode since GHWB got shot down in WWII.

Clinton is acting like a former president should, having these two together shows the world how governments are suppose to work, peaceful transfer of power and a healthy respect for the other side.

I can see it now:

"Wooo. I mean we've all had people tortured, but your dad and I had the good sense to keep it under wraps! And as for managing wars, didn't your old man teach you how to do it right? It's like doing interns, go in, drop your bombs, then pull out with the 'Did I do that inside you?' look on your face."

Meh, this is what happens when you become irrelevant, but can't stand to leave the limelight. Clinton has nothing better to do after failing to get his wife to become President; Bush is trying rehabilitate his reputation.

Prediction, W. comes out with his natural accent, and speaks as a man of his education should. This plus showing his natural timing makes everyone on here facepalm(me included). Weall realize we were had and Oliver Stone makes a new movie based on his decption entitled Truth. It will include Alex Jones as a technical advisor.

THIS:
Although both presidents demonstrated an ability to compromise in the interests of bipartisan consensus - Mr. Clinton toughened welfare rules while Mr. Bush expanded public health care and funding for education - their opponents saw them only as the personifications of the evil of the other side.

Hang On Voltaire [TotalFark] 2009-04-22 09:24:19 AM
Actually Clinton and W get along fairly pretty well. In "Bush at War" by Bob Woodward (I think this was where I read it) he details their first meeting after the election and there was some guy who worked for Clinton and went to Yale with W and was friends with W and he kept telling Clinton, "I am telling you you are going to love him" and W was hesitant because he still harbored hard feelings from 1992. Anyway they met and instantly liked each other. W had Clinton sit on some CIA briefings with him and his Dad when they were there for Tsunami relief

Mercutio74 2009-04-22 09:27:59 AM
Sigh... I don't think I'd be able to attend but I hope that Bush gets booed like a visiting goaltender.
