I hate to pee on your parade, but it's not going to be anywhere near as cool as the Zoo TV tour, etc. I'm not some Farker who constantly harps on U2 from my mom's basement; the magic is just gone. Of course, that's totally, like, my opinion, man.

The guy paid $15 million--the archery club and everyone else can fark off--and I can't stand U2.

That's usually one of the main cases for people not wanting something. The idea that the environment (and thus property values, the underlying cause of NIMBY) will change downward if something is done.

So, adding all the current residents' Malibu homes was fine, but it's not okay for the Edge to do it.

That's six months away. That's a long time for an opening act to stick with a tour. I wouldn't put too much stock in Muse opening.

Don't get me wrong, I hope they do. I have tickets to their Atlanta show in October. But don't count on it.

I have seen the Zoo TV Live In Sydney concert DVD. I'm aware that that's probably the best they ever were live.

But unfortunately, I was 10 years old during that tour, so I couldn't exactly witness it in person. And I also saw the U23D film (which shows footage of the Vertigo tour) last year, and still enjoyed it. So, I'm not overly worried about whether or not I'll have a good time. I've been a huge fan of U2 for about 12 years now; I'm just happy I'm finally seeing them.

He & Blowno both suck. He's shiatty guitar player, too.

crap, 6 months is too long to be excited about a concert! why do the ticket sellers/radio stations who give away the tickets do this to us? i thought feb-june (4 months) to wait for the eric clapton & steve winwood show was a long time!
