Of course, they are only pursuing peaceful civilian power when they exercise their sovereign right to self-determination by booting out the inspectors. Nothing to see here.

Obama: Jeez, I really thought we could have talked this through. Quick, someone put togethor a sternly worded email to the UN!

I am pretty sure the South Korean's have tried but the bastard is pretty elusive. Sanctions haven't worked and bombings will put the douche back a few years, but nothing substantial. This will only end when the North Koreans have said enough is enough and conduct a revolution. That is how every other nation changed a radical government, and we have to admit there is pretty much nothing we can do about it other than what you suggested.

I think Bin Laden's goal is to destroy the west and make militant IslamTM the standard religion all over the world. So, that hasn't been accomplished.

Actually, his goals at the time were a Palestinian state and the United States out of Saudi Arabia, both of which Bush agreed to after 9/11. Maybe that's why there haven't been any terrorists attacks? It's all thanks to Bush the Appeaser!

Okay, letme parse this:

You admit that military action is out until it is worth 1 million dead (we'll ballpark a 10% loss of the population of Seoul) when the OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAND tanks and artillery systems start a-chargin' or a-firin' across the 90 miles that currently separate the two.

You believe that if License2KimJongIll there will be a semi-stable transition of power between him and...well, who do you think will take over?

You feel that the next leader will be less crazy than the Motherfarker who is currently running things.

Schadenfreude ist die schoenste Freude: Didn't Osama already accomplish what he set out to do anyway? Wouldn't that make him the winner?

My understanding is that he wanted Shari Law and Qutbism to be the main affluence in the Middle East and an overthrow of all forms of Government to be replace by Wahhabism. In all these fronts he has failed miserably.

Seems to me Osama hasn't gained any influence, but like Kim is looked at as an attention whore.

In the first two months of his Presidency when almost all of our resources are being put into keeping the economy from collapsing? No, and anyone who's b*tching about Obama having not found him yet needs a swift poke in the eye.
