First off, he's not a celebrity.

Secondly he's under indictment on multiple federal charges. A judge and prosecutor is going to let him leave the country? By all that is holy. Please just say NO. The only attention he deserves is all the loving attention he'll get in jail when he drops the soap in the shower.

Perhaps Rod thinks once he get to Costa Rica, he can avoid extradition back to the US for trial, based on "political harassment". The judge for Rod's trial today announced the trial would take about six months, but wouldn't START for TWO FARKING YEARS.

I don't think Illinois can stand to wait that long.
