I'll bet he also finds the allegation of Obama's supposed half brother and his alleged almost assault of a group of girls in public that resulted in no charges very concerning and under reported.

So... "Even we can't find a way to be outraged, so it's stupid to have anyone talking about it".

The media should be discussing teabagging and teleprompters instead.

All went well because Obama was present and did nothing.

Absolutely right, why doesn't he just stay "present" and keep quiet NOW as he did during the problem ... ah but no, how can he take credit and be praised unles he comes forward now? Did you every see a President stay further AWAY from a crisis ... now watch, tomorrow, the success will be BECAUSE of him ... thanks to the news media. Ir will be fun to watch them spin this one to his favor when all he was was "present."

shanrick: Those comments make me afraid of the deranged stupid.

I'm perpetually amazed at how quickly the freeper hive mind can continually find reasons to be outraged.

"Why won't 0sama say anything about X?"

*Obama says something*

"Talk is cheap! Why won't 0sama do anything about X."

*Obama does something*

"He must be outraged that he had to do that! What a loser."

And my favorite comment from the linked thread:

To: Dilbert San Diego
Is Obama privately mad that we killed 3 of the 4 pirates?

Possible. They could be his blood brothers after all - in all likelihood fathered by Barrack Hussein Obama Sr.

First thing Newtie has said in a long time that I've agreed with.

We should be talking about how Obama's good decision-making dismantled the hostage situation off the horn of Africa and how his economic policies are already turing the crisis around - and how he is making solid and swift progress on every major policy promise he proposed over the campaign.

He is setting himself up to be the most successful and competent president ever.

Dear Newt,

You are a political philosopher with no real practicing of the trade under your belt. You know nothing about the intricacies that are involved, so stop talking about something you have no iota about. Dogs however, are something you're able to comment on since you know a significant amount pertaining to b*tches in heat, and their bastage offspring you dumb straw man.

P.S. Shut your stupid farking mouth.
Sincerely,

Not a bad idea. The MSN is ignoring a huge ground swell of opposition to Obama and the Dems budgetary plans and the fact that our president can't seem to put three words together to form a sentence with out reading them off a screen.

And I thought Hopey McChange was supposed to be such an articulate man.
Clean, too, according to Joe Biden, who spells 'a three letter word -job - 'j-o-b-s', steals a foreign poltician's speech without accreditation and lies about having conversations with people that didn't happen.

Yup. Quite the crew you Dems/Libs/Leftists have in place.

Now for the 'But, but, but...BUSH!' responses.

I concur. But the media in the U.S. forgot long ago what real news was. Now for them it's just about ratings. "What do Americans care about?", the media said to themselves, and they pondered, and pondered. What did they discover? Nothing. But they like to pretend that we want to hear about stupid crap like what Obama wore to Mcdonalds, or what kind of unmotherly shenanigans Britney Spears is up to. "News" these days is geared toward women, and the ADD crowd.

HUGE GROUND SWELL! (^)

Why do so many posters here try to criticize Obama by making shiat up?

There's plenty of principled reasons to be anti-bailout, think some of his appointments are terrible, and to find a crap ton of rational reasons to biatch and moan.

Apparently that's too difficult for some of you, so go on about about telemprompters and pretend groundswells of opposition. It beats the hell out of thinking.

It's fluff about the first family. It always happens. Who cares?

Puppies are cute, I like pictures of puppies, and the coverage has inspired some of the best bits on the Daily Show/Colbert Report.

"First Puppydential Debate" was gold.

Yeah, right. Cuz the rest of the world didn't spend their news cycles reporting on what Michelle Obama was wearing.

me_the_farker: How about answearing allegations that you handed divorce papers to your wife while she was dying?

Do we have to go through this in every Newt thread? He did not hand her divorce papers in the hospital. She once claimed that they "discussed terms" of their ongoing divorce proceeding while she was in the hospital. She did not elaborate. She never alleged that he "handed divorce papers to her while she was dying." Because IT DID NOT HAPPEN.

(Caps because this particular smear campaign needs to die. Attack Newt on the issues, he's a pretty big target. There's no need to make stuff up.)

Newt's right, no one wants to hear feel-good human interest stories in the middle of an economic crises. All the news should be about unemployment, shooting deaths, and food-born illnesses.
