Actually yes. The person is considered irrational (and therefore not responsible) for wanting to die.

Glenn Beck has recently actually cried on screen over how upset he is with what he sees as the loss of his albeit deluded concept of what America is.

This is typical, conservatives do this every time, Reagan is considered a saint and the 50's are considered some sort of Utopian time, Nixon is overshadowed by Carter who is apparently the worst president ever and would be considered the anti-Christ if Barack Obama didn't exist.
