I don't know what brilliant GOP strategist decided that "teabagging" would be a great way to describe what they want to do, but I would like to give them my very sincere thanks.

I saw Rachel Maddow on Jimmy Fallon last night and she's pretty cool. She apparently likes to drink (the hard stuff) and claims she's very good at it. She mixed up something in a shaker and thoroughly enjoyed it, while Jimmy took a taste and looked like he was going to shoot flames out of his mouth.

There aren't many chicks who would kick back and split a bottle of good Scotch with you.

Epsilon [TotalFark] 2009-04-10 02:39:23 PM
I forgot to add, too bad she's a carpet-muncher.

Diogenes [TotalFark] 2009-04-10 02:46:38 PM
It was a pretty funny segment. Maddow had a hard time keeping it together.

I can't even figure out what the hell this is supposed to mean.

"No Taxation Without Representation! Well, except for 41 Republican Senators and 178 Republicans in the House! But yeah, it's totally the same!"

They have a hard time with teh maths. In their math, 3 Democrats voting against the President is "bi-partisan rejection." 41 Senators and 178 Representatives is statistically insignificant.

Too bad for whom? Apparently, her girlfriend is pretty happy. And who knows? Maybe once the GOP fizzles out completely, I can amend that to "wife."

I understand the sentiment, though. I've got a crush on her, and have had for some time. I don't care if she's not into dudes. I don't care if she's not what a lot of guys would consider a "classic beauty." She's funny, cute, she knows how to drink, and she's wicked smaaht (she's got a Ph.D in PoliSci from Oxford, fer chrissakes). Asking for more than that is just greedy.

Too bad for me, if I went drinking with her, that she's not into dudes. Not that I could get her if she was.

I've got nothing against her, I think she's super groovy.

This. My GF (who happens to be bi) really digs her, too. We saw her live at the RNC in St. Paul. I think my GF was smitten with her.

That needs to be a lance-armstrong type bracelet.

Best. SNL. Skit. EVAR!

Srsly, that was pretty funny. "Joining me now in this teabagging discussion is Ana-Marie Cox." It just doesn't get any better.

/I love Rachel Maddow

Why are conservatives so fixed on the homoerotic.

Hideously Gigantic Smurf 2009-04-10 04:14:36 PM
I can't help but wonder if the people partaking in this have been instructed to buy only certain brands of tea?

Aexia 2009-04-10 04:19:28 PM
How off the reservation are the tea-baggers? Even the folks at Little Green Footballs feel comfortable describing them as "loons", "deranged" and "fringe".

This is something I would have expected to see on the Daily Show, not MSNBC.

Musta been one helluva slow news day.

Phil Herup: Rachel Maddow is a funny guy.

More of a guy than Newt Gingrich. Or Fred Thompson. Or any of the other chickenhawks who luvs guns and bombs and war but is too cowardly to have every actually served.

ckccfa 2009-04-10 04:22:39 PM
I can only imagine the people who are actually into the protests watchings this--"why is everyone laughing? what is going on?"

This made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe.

/wants to drink/smoke with Maddow

crab66 2009-04-10 04:23:08 PM
Why did I just envision some kind of giant line of people leading into the white house full of middle-aged, pasty and overweight men.

TEABAG OBAMA

You know you hit crazy when even LGF starts backing away slowly. The funny part is the comments on there say these people seem surprised by this.

But less of a guy than Carter and Obama who give concessions to the world as they continue to walk over him and build nukes, hijack US ships and test missiles around him.

The funniest/worst part of this teabagging thing is that it is actually promoted on Fox Noise. Weird and stupid. Well, that's Fox in a nutshell.

I'm not sure you thought that metaphor through.

Keep it simple. Do you want to teabag her or not?

JUST REPORT THE F**KING NEWS!!!

Enough with the snark, the cutesy, the scrunchie face glee that is Maddow. MSNBC is becoming unwatchable for the parade of "whoopie! lookit us, we won!" I would kill for a news program that trusts me enough to let me make up my own mind.

As long as we're chronicling right-wing homoerotic, there's also the new anti-gay marriage group called "2M4M"... which I guess is protesting gay marriage by seeking men for all male threesomes.

She's also one of the better things about Twitter. Her objective for today is to rescue the term "NOM" from the Nation For Marriage folks and return it back to the Lolcats.

Plus, she's usually on Maddow about twice a week at least.
