Oh! He's getting a job with the CIA/FBI?!

Big prediction. That's where he was LAST time I saw him.

If he ever got clean, his music would probably take a nosedive. Though it would be nice if he got clean enough to actually make music again.

I know that it's wrong for me to bring the hate, but drugs don't magically make music awesome when you suck to begin with. You have to have actual talent for heroin to cause you to produce things like Led Zeppelin IV.

If Duff McKagan says you have a drug problem, man, you got yourself a serious drug problem (not that this wasn't already apparent).

I'll be over here, getting contracts arranged for the inevitable rehab show appearance he will be making.

Maybe we can set something up with Steve Adler, I hear he's got an open schedule these days.... make it like an "Odd Couple" / sober house mix.

/THIS is why you hate your TV.

As long as he isn't rummaging through my trousers.

It is perfectly acceptable for you, and expected of someone on here at least, to bring the hate. That being said, I loved and still love Core, Purple, and Tiny Music. I liked #4 (I can never remember the name of that one, maybe #5?). I still deeply admire Dean and Rob DeLeo's music.

Scott Weiland wrote some awesome songs, some clearly under the influence of powerful drugs, and now he's likely done for. He's surprising in that he even made it out of the '90s alive!

It could be worse. Weiland can get cleaned up and record a danceable album with Timbaland just like the other druggie who did that very thing.

Lots of people just don't care about anything but being high. That life stuff is okay for a while but it's just a diversion between the drug taking. I can see it - I've almost been there - but I always pulled back and rejoined society. I'll admit I love nothing better than to sit in my chair, in front of my PC, and snort oxycodone all day and all night, noding in and out of consciousness. But sooner or later, you have to go back to reality. If for no other reason than to get more money for the next round of drugging.

What was my point?

I guess if it has to be explained, the joke loses a certain something.

He could try touching the sky by drowning in his own puke.

I would make him hobo sammiches with saltines and potted meat and give him odd jobs to do. Having your own hobo who happened to be Scott Weiland? That would kick ass!

People on 'ludes should not drive!

Saw VR twice when they were together. Basically I just went to see Slash and Duff (Matt can stay too I suppose). Weiland was always the weakest part. And I liked STP, but he just didn't fit IMO.

It's too bad Sebastian Bach is Axl's biatch now, he'd make an awesome fit.

I saw STP in Vegas last summer...Scott still performs pretty well...once he makes it to the stage.

Scott is destined for a big ol obvious tag when he finally kills himself though.

Duff is cursed. He drove 3 singers over the age and 2 in the same year. In 1994 he sat next to Cobain on a flight to Seattle 3 days before he killed himself. Later in 1994 he drove Axl to seclusion. Finally he got Weiland back on junk.
