(NME) Interesting Slash says there won't be a Guns N' Roses reunion because he only wants to work with women from now on, which means that a possible Axl Rose collaboration in the future isn't completely ruled out   (nme.com) divider line 16

Good... I saw them live back in the day... not a good live band.

As a huge Guns N' Roses fan in the early 90s, I can say with full confidence that even if they re-united, I wouldn't give a f*ck.

It's over. Like forever. Seriously.

Being a biatch doesn't mean you're a woman, submitter.

But being a woman means you're a b*tch. How ironic.

Really? I saw them live in '91 and they were awesome. (Of course, I was 17)

After reading his book, the only way a reunion will happen is if axl apologizes for the shiat he pulled, Axl sounds like a real douche and a being whiney biatch than even mariah carey.

Still when slash, duff, izzy, and steven were in the band it was one of the greatest rock bands of all time, too bad axl had to fark it up.

Yes, they were good, sorry music snobs just admit it.

the band was good - even better when axl STFU and stopped "singing"

They had one good album, over 20 years ago. The rest were total abortions. The history of this band as I know it, from a music biz college professor, is that Geffen "engineered" their success. This is not a wholly uncommon thing in the music biz, it happens all the time. How he did it was the intriguing part. He sent out reps to clubs far and wide to find a new sound. He found GNR and decided, for whatever reason (probably cause Axl was batsh@t crazy and Slash as funky). So then he found ever single band that had the same look and sound as GNR, which back in L.A at the time was pretty common.

Next Geffen produced GNR and poured lots of cash into promotion. It worked, really really well. All the other bands he felt were a threat to their sound, were brought into his studios, given a contract and were then ruined. They were stuck in a long term contract with a studio that made sure they never made a record.

This would explain why, to me anyways, that their first engineered and polished album skyrocketed, and the subsequent albums since were horrible ego romps for it's narcissistic front man.

But I could be way off on that.

You are, all the other bands were glam rock abortions and most sucked.

GnR was a great blues rock band with very little production on their first album, if you want a good live show, check out the live at the roxy for an early MTV appearance for them sounding great live. Sometimes axl would run around the big stages too much or blow out his voice and the rest of the shows would suck, I think I saw them once where it was a decent show. The rest axl sounded like a winded school girl.

Oh and I highly recommend slash's book, it was a good view of the music business and how shallow it is.

Too bad.

If they reunited, did Appetite for Destruction material ONLY (except November Rain and Live and Let Die), and put on the show for the prices VR shows were costing, I'd sell a guitar just to have the money to go.
