25 years? You would think he'd be covered by the statute of limitations.

"It will be investigated"

"Uh, yeah, we're just investigating this issue of Hustler for the articles."

Asa Phelps [TotalFark] 2009-04-07 09:51:11 PM
Yeah, from what i can find about the statute of limitations for criminal offenses in california, they're at least 19 years too late to prosecute this one.

But sure, investigate it. Court TV will cover it right next to the case of michael phelp's party behavior.

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department tells WENN, "It's not clear whether this is still an open case or whether the officer involved closed it out. If it's still open, it will be investigated."

Investigate all you want, LAPD, I'm pretty sure the Whiskey is in West Hollywood (LA County Sheriff's territory). Any Los Angeles Farkers around? I'm not positive about this.

Funny, they weren't interested in investigating my neighbor who runs her own crack dealership right next door... and the cops hang out at the burger joint across the street!

Ragingwookiee 2009-04-08 08:29:22 AM
Does this mean I'll have to go down to the shore and buy more t-shirts to help bail him out?

Hmmm, they get a pass on 30 years of terrible, banal, idiotic music?

No justice, no peace.

ihatedumbpeople 2009-04-08 09:03:18 AM
I'm sure the statute of limitations has expired on anything 'vandalism' or 'mischief' related...but it WOULD be pretty damn funny if he got in hot water over it.

Anyone ever read "The Dirt"? This isn't new information people.

barneyfifesbullet 2009-04-08 12:36:57 PM
Yeah. That story was in The Dirt years ago.

I remember seeing LAPD driving around in this part of town frequently.

Ok when crack becomes a drug big enough that dealers are franchising and advertising brands... that's when you have a problem party

I thought I remembered reading that in "The Dirt" as well. And about that book - for anyone who read it: have you ever come across four more usless, self-involved, dirtbag human beings in your life? Well, maybe not Mick Mars - he came off as just an extremely weird loser. But those other three are complete wastes of human function.

This is why people hate the police. Let it go you sad, sad little losers.
