he's a marathon runner. probably has a pulse of around 60 and a BP of 100/70.

Wow you guys sound fat. What's the matter couldn't quite get that first chinup in 4th grade with the whole class looking on? Aaaaaw, its ok you have the internet now to be big and tough.

This guy looks like a kindly, self sacrificing, marathon runner. Which is what he is in fact, fatties.

You never had my gym teacer. In high school, my gym teacher was Mr. Fuller, a guy who must have weighed at least 350 lbs.

It was humiliating being told to "run the mile faster, Mason!" I was the slowest one in the class, but always wanted to tell him to run his flabby ass around the track 4 times in a faster time.

My cousin's husband was a skinny little twig. He taught wrestling (high school) along with PE. Stringy muscle guy. I wouldn't want to wrestle him and he could go with even odds against a marine not fighting to kill. Well, as Mr. T would say to you:

So let me get this straight. The woman has three kids, only had two with her when the accident happened, and they just asked some random student and her mother, who did not witness the incident, to comment on it? Maybe I'm just too tired, but that seemed a little confusing to me.

No charges have been filed against the driver? File them biatches! This woman almost ran over six people! I mean four!

And to finish things off, a nice one from the comments section:

I would make her work as a cross walk at that same area where the coach was hit.

Yes. Have her lay down across the street for people to walk on and cars to drive over. Great idea!

Just when you think all the good has been drained out of humanity, some bony-ass PE restores the faith.

I had great PE teachers. One year some A-hole peed on the black kid's shoe in our class and the PE teacher made us run till we puked, and the a-hole confessed. Funny how big of an impact something like that has in the big picture.

Gym teachers who can run motivated me more than gym teachers who had biceps the size of the average thigh.

We had two gym teachers in high school (they split the class so more students could be crammed into one period) and one was buff, the other was a marathoner and scrawny as anything -- I swear a stiff breeze would've blown him over. When we had to take the Fitness Test, the buff teacher couldn't finish the mile run and barely made the sit-up count while the scrawny guy ran a 7 minute mile without breaking a sweat. The only reason he didn't go faster was because he had to keep the class in sight, so he would slow down when we fell behind.
Something about seeing him ready to take on the world while Mr. Macho was gasping and wheezing put a lot of things into perspective for me.

/Kudos to this teacher!
//so, why hasn't the driver been cited?

I had the same revelation in boot camp. Our company commander was this little skinny dude who was twice the age of most of the recruits, but he could run our dicks into the dirt - every single one of us. There were recruits who could bench-press more weight, but no one could touch him in pushups, situps, running or swimming.
