Oh yeah.. I remember that guy. He hosted a b-horror movie show in Cleveland back in the day.

I loved his elitist New York attitude of only campaigning in large cities. How did that work out for you? 911

Mainly because Guiliani is stuck trying to remember what the number between 9 and 11 is.

No, I think I had it right the first time. I like the post below this about him being the Tyler Perry of politics.

His anti-terrorist plan of swatting down airplanes with buildings didn't work out so well.

Giuliani's the guy you want if there's a political culture in dire need of somebody who relishes being a real asshole who goes around banging heads together - and therefore he should run for governor of NY. Right now the state is run by Shelly Silver and a gang of downstate assemblymen whose life's dream is to be the next Charlie Rangel.

I want to watch Silver's head asplode when he finds out he won't have Paterson to roll any more.

Probably because "bet it all on Florida" doesn't work that well with the average FARK reader....

He's shiatty as a politician, but he's composed some of the most intricate pieces for solo guitar ever put to paper.

I seem to recall several people on fark who supported that asshat. Hell... I bet a few of them still wish he wouldn't have been a total failure in his bid for the presidency.

That was such a dick move when they all LOL'd at 'community organizers' at the RNC.

I look back on it now and I'm amazed just how quickly it all came crashing down after that moment, particularly with Peggy Whatsherface calling it all bullshiat on the air when she forgot her mic was on. Hilarious.

Who? Oh you mean America's Mayor? Link (Fox news propaganda)
I mean honestly republicans are you not just a little embarrassed by fox news? But then again it did fail in a most pleasing way.

I wouldn't blame that sh*t on Fox alone. MSNBC and CNN were just as ardent in promoting "America's Mayor."

To be fair, as a CITY MAYOR it wasn't his job to make sure terrorists didn't attack America. Or for that matter, to defend the country after they did. That's why we have, you know, Presidents and the military.

It was his job not to be a dick about it, and he failed miserably at that.

Alphax 2009-04-05 07:01:56 AM
Rudy's main problem was that he was even more proud that 9/11 happened than Bin Laden was.

No, it was his job to have the emergency-operations headquarters in a safe place. He put it in the farking Trace Center buildings.

// Don't tease "Rudy the Ghoul". He'll send his secret police after you! After all, he has MILLIONS stolen from 9-11 charities which was illegally taken for Arnold Swartznegger and his mistress and himself and other Republican ghouls.

Sadly enough.

His presidential bid is on bad swan song for a man who cleaned up much of NYC. I give him no credit at all for the handling of 9-11 and what come after.

bychance 2009-04-06 04:24:55 AM
What exactly did he do on 9/11? I live in NYC, its sickening to hear him claim his heroics here. I didn't see him do shiat.

And a real hero doesn't brag or speak about what they've done for the people in daily conversation.
