I think the new album is awesome. I don't care if it didn't sell well.

Bono's voice hasn't sounded this good since Joshua Tree.

I for one can't wait to hear what Trent Reznor has to say about this.

Sending Justice to save you from sucking is like sending Amy Winehouse to save you from crack rock.

I listened to their new album on amazon, clips of it...
some songs were good, the rest were "meh".
and yup, i STILL hate "get on your boots".
sounds like it should be in a crappy car ad or a crappy action movie trailer.

I'm surprised you didn't link to the Paul Oakenfold remixes of "Lemon"...

/Had it on 10" lemon colored vinyl.
//Made a nice frisbee.

U2 picked the worst song on the album for the first single.

They should have released Magnificent instead, which sounds like classic U2, or almost any other song there. That Boots song sucks.

Didn't they have Will.I.Am (or whatever his name is) remix this song once already?

LEAVE U2 ALONE!

/someone had to do it.

I don't want to join the haters for hating sake only, but I really didn't like this album. I listened to it all the way through and kept thinking the next song was going to be better and would somehow make the album click. Then I realized I just heard the last song.

I know Rolling Stone Magazine is literally a sopping wet vagina over this album, but I'm a limp penis.

I'm enjoying about half of it. "Boots" and the song after it are immediately skipped when I give this album a listen. They are painful to hear.

Some of the stuff is pretty good. Eno and Flood were enough to convince me to buy this album. At least I can enjoy some of the production magic.

Alright, so we're all in agreement here. U2 sucks ass.

i would have to argue that the frisbee thing wasn't one of your finer moments.

I love every song except for Get on your Boots. I'm not sure why they choose it as their single...

I think I can live with the sacrifice of a possible $100. However it seems I may have remembered the remixers wrong. That's Morales and Tomii. Hmm! I could have sworn it was Oakenfold. Oh well, Morales sucked just as bad at the time, although Oakenfold has since surpassed all known levels of suck.

My facebook says that I listen to "anything but techno and rap and country", so I am really getting a kick out of this reply.

my point is, using the word techno to describe music that certainly isn't techno signals a lack of knowledge regarding current music. btw, deevo, that's too bad...good music can be found everywhere, you just have to look for it: (underground hip-hop and old school country rule).

deevo 2009-04-05 05:18:36 AM
It was a joke on out-of-touch people who refer to all "electronic" music as techno who typically list that shiat on facebook. I listen to everything from nsbm to dubstep to twee pop to power electronics.

On the other hand, people who refer to Justice as "electro" need to be thrown off a cliff.

Or "electrohouse"...
