/Was 'mens-a-mens' with the last Modest Mouse album.

You know, I said in one of the last Morrissey threads I was responsible for that I enjoyed "You Are the Quarry." But it took me about two years to fully enjoy it (though I will admit that "First of the Gang to Die" is one of my favorite songs of all time).
I enjoyed "Ringleader of the Tormenters" after a few months.

But his new CD? I enjoyed it right out.

Well, I hope he doesn't have to pay for them...

Well, I might be biased, but I've always thought he did a decent cover of The Jam's That's Entertainment. (new window)

I like his new stuff better than his old solo stuff, and the new one rocks.

Dammit, I'm going to the April 10th concert here in Dallas... :)

Hopefully, he'll run out of the audience, jump up on stage and hug Morrissey, just like everyone else does.

Moz cancelled his show in Orlando. At least I got a refund on my tix... but I'm ashamed to say I was heartbroken. Then I got over it.

He's playing on the same stage as McCartney so, at least, you'll get a good spot for Sir Paul and the rumored reunited Beatles (with Ringo and George Harrison's son joining him on stage) Link (new window)

Failing that, the Smiths are one of the most influential groups in music history, and Morrissey, as a solo artist, puts on a pretty good show.

Maybe you'd prefer some tuneless WHAAARGARBL in the Sahara tent.
