I'll agree, the dude's a total felcher but he's on vacation with his family....leave the man alone.

Did anyone else get the chance to hear this turd on his radio broadcast? It was great. Wish I had a link for that piece of entertainment.

If you're gonna mess around with his name shouldn't it be changed to Blego?

Blogo? Disneywold? Is there a joke I'm missing?

Hey, douche: If you don't wanna be recognized and hassled on vacation, here's a tip: wear a hat. Without that ridiculous hairmet hanging out there, you look like any other pasty midwestern tool on vacation.

Sad to see NBC has finally lowered itself to fauxnews' level.

Give me a break. It seems obvious to me that he purposely took his family to DW so to seem like he's a great family guy. I'm also pretty sure he knew when the indictments would be released, so he planned accordingly to get the hell out of Chicago and avoid the lynch mob.

Wasn't he also conveniently "away on vacation" when he was impeached in December?

He has a serious mob mentality. Completely crooked on the inside, with a happy wholesome looking crusty shell on the outside. And then there's his frock of hair, but that's a different story.

I think Leno says it best: Bla-sonofabiatch.

/my 2 cents.

"I'm somebody that knows," should have received, "Monkey Steals the Peach" from the reporter after he touched her. What does the status of his indictment have to do with a public figure making an appearance in public?

He did, and he's right, I can tell when we get a midwesterner in Houston. The glare of the skin from the lack of tan gives you away, that and there's that whole having a different accent then canadians.

I wonder if the reporter was breaking the TOS of the Disney ticket she purchased to enter the park. While her actions may be protected constitutionally, she probably could have gotten thrown out mighty fast for that kind of behaivor...

I just hope when the prosecute this guy, they do it correctly and don't throw out his convictions like they had to for Ted Stevens.

Side note: if it was the Bush administration, and Stevens was a Democrat, do you think there is ANY chance the Justice Department would have done the right thing the way the current JD did in the Stevens case?

It's nice to have some fairness out there again.

Sorry state of mind.....you hate Bush so much, you have to imagine fictitious corruption to hate him more.

I suggest that suby doesn't understand the conotation of "douche." "Mustache lady" man eclipses Blogo for the qualities of a douche bag. Suby might want to consider some other product usually made of latex rubber as a more appropriate comparison.

Criminals who betray the public trust should be left alone to vacation in peace? I'd ask the color of the sky in your world, but your world probably doesn't even have a sky.

Blago subby, Blago!

Christ man, it is the headline of the article. The man is not known for his web journal.

Where is the news story in him going to Disneyworld with his family? Seriously? Yes, the man is an absolute jack-ass and I hope he goes to prison but what is the purpose of bothering him on vacation? I could possibly understand tabloids behaving like this but an NBC affiliate SHOULD NOT be a supermarket tabloid.

Regardless of what this man did we should hold our news agencies to a higher standard than bothering a man on vacation just to see how he'll react.

Never mind the fact that he is probably well-aware that he's going away for a while and just wants to have the opportunity to spend some time with his family before he does.

I never said it's a remotely important news story.

"Bothering" him on vacation sends a message that once a politician betrays the public trust, they won't receive a moment of peace. Every political figure should have this burned into their mind.

I fully realize that his family must endure this treatment as well, but he was the one who made the choice to become corrupt, and he put his family in this situation, not the media. If he doesn't like it, he should have been content with his governor's paycheck, and the legalized bribes given by lobbyists, but he clearly wasn't.
