Corrupt-ovich will try to take as many people down with him as possible, and he might even try to take down Obama, but I don't think anything against Obama will stick, but I wouldn't be surprised if have the Democrats serving in Illinois are forced to leave office before the year is out.

Come on. Stevens was let loose because of mistakes made by the Justice Department's crack prosecutors during Bush's presidency. This is totally different. Blago's a Democratic governor from a blue state Illinois and now Obama is....

Never mind.

This guys a loudmouth and an attention whore, and was being taped for a fairly extended period of time. If he had even the slightest thing on Obama, he would have been blabbing about it already, or it would have been leaked from the investigation. I'm not saying that Obama is or isn't involved in some questionable things, since I really don't know either way, but I'm willing to believe that he's smart enough to not try and get involved with someone as obviously and massively corrupt as Blago.

Also, and this has been said many times before, if Obama had involvement with anything of any notable level of questionability, don't you think think that the Clinton or McCain would have dug it up before now?

Of course, since I can't remember which side you usually take on issues like this, I suppose it's possible that I've either been trolled, or lured in by an inability to recognize written sarcasm.

I guess I just don't see the "Hair Abuse" thing. I mean, it has a nice coat, obviously of healthy weight and is well fed, and I'm willing to bet a cold wet nose. By all accounts, I think it's very well cared for.

It's those abused, mangy ones from the puppy mills you have to watch out for.

Obama wharrgarble aside, the man is farked in the head. He was on his full court press regarding how he didn't do anything and the truth would prevail. He's also a vindictive SOB, which means he could very well lash out against the folks who potentially farked him over.

As a Democrat and Obama fan I must object to this obviously partisan witch-hunt. This is nothing more than a politically motivated event being pushed by politically motivated attorneys.

Wait. What the hell am I saying?

As a Democrat and Obama fan I hope the former Governor has a horrible time in jail.

Weird. Me too. But I suspect that watching a bloviating, self-important turd like Blago go down is a non-partisan activity that everyone can enjoy.

Your original point, however, still stands.

Notice how you are so out to lunch about this that nobody knows what your talking about? I think you meant to post this on freerepublic, where people exist that think blago has some kind of incriminating evidence on Obama, because, apparently, all corrupt politicians from Ill know shiat about each other...

I don't doubt that Blago will go down, but I'm also betting that they don't have much on him except hours and hours of taped innuendo.

He will probably get a couple years and fine. He won't take down anyone major and will end up the question to a Final Jeopardy answer.

I don't know what's more pathetic:

That Blagojevich thought he could get away with selling off the
most prominent seat in the US Senate, or the fact that he doesn't
actually wear a rug or a weave. That IS his real hair, folks; I
know people who know for sure.

Don't be so sure. If there is a God dispensing justice, and I live to see Karl Rove get stuck in irons, I'm guessing I won't be the only person in America having a "Karl Rove Prison Watch" party.

Besides, Rove is much smarter and much, much more evil than Blago. And he has the decency to be bald, which I imagine makes it easier for him to absorb the blood of children and puppies directly in to his brain.
