Summary of TFA: Maurice "The Space Cowboy" Ravel hides a name in the solfège and thereby speaks on the pompatus of love.

If people want to be scholars of classical music or greek pottery or something else whose value is hard to quantify, good for you. There are plenty of us who appreciate your service to civilization.

But please don't make up this Inside Edition gossipy bullshiat to get attention. It demeans you, your subject, and your field.

/has tickets to see the symphony playing Ravel this Sunday

I found another reference to Lamaze's theories on Ravel, which makes more sense to me:

David Lamaze, professor in Ecriture musicale at the Conservatoire de Rennes, has been fascinated for years by Maurice Ravel's oeuvre, which he does pioneering work
upon : he discovered that a certain group of notes dominates Ravel's compositions.

Transposed in letters, the notes sol, re, mi, si and la can be read as G, D, E, B and A.

Five letters that appear in the maiden name of Servais' granddaughter Misia Sert Godebska.

Lamaze also has a website, but I couldn't make head or tails out of it. Apparently, he has a four part plan to make this idea known, which includes an already published novel, Le Cygne de Ravel.

I detect a little "Close Encounters" mania with this guy.

But I have to admit as a songwriter, I've tried sneaking girls' names and whatnot into songs. It's harder than it sounds to do it wihtout getting caught out.
