Well, to be honest, being stung by 2,000 highly-venomous bees IS less painful than living in Las Vegas.

That has got to be one of the worst ways to die.

Or almost die.

Getting stung repeatedly by bees is the one childhood fear I still carry with me today. Kill them all!

Well for one thing he'd have to get stung by about 50 of them to even notice.

EviLincoln: I wonder if he will be pretty much immune to bee stings from now on?

I think it's more likely he will become hypersensitive to them. His body will overreact to stings next time and he could die of anaphylactic shock. He's lucky he didn't this time.

This. For instance, I am often on IV vancomycin. This causes a reaction for the first few days. The first reactions of each course of treatment are progressively getting worse and now I have to do the first dose in the hospital.

Today I was riding in a car with my wife and a couple of friends when my wife asked, "So, what ever happened to the killer bees that we were supposed to be so afraid of?"

One of my friends replied, "They're here. They just didn't turn out to be as bad as we were led to believe."

My wife looked kind of puzzled and asked, "So, what are we supposed to be afraid of, then?"

My other friend grinned and said, "They'll think of something. They always do."

FTFA: While not native to the U.S., killer bees are well established in southern Nevada.

What the hell does that mean? Africanized honey bees are not native to anywhere, they are not a natural species. They are just a farkup created by humans being dumbasses.

I heard about this guy on the local news. They said hospital staff had to pull out every individual stinger with tweezers. Damn.

Meh!!

Getting stung in Las Vegas is when you pay a hooker $200 and she doesn't even take it up the pooper!

An old photo of mine. His wings were wet and he couldn't fly, and he seemed pretty pissed about me taking his picture. I left before his wings dried out.

Bees are nice. The ones in my garden are exceptionally fat and fuzzy. Hornets and Wasps however, they should be tortured then killed.
