So, who's writing this for Bush?

thamike: So, who's writing this for Bush?

Bil Keane

The pre-orders on this book will push it to record best-seller status before it's even out of editing, and all the purchases will have been made by special interest groups consisting of exactly nobody who will read a word in it.

Cheney.

You go, George! You'll get that sterling legacy yet!

Just don't let Bart near your memoirs like Daddy did.

Never mind that. Who's going to read it to him?

Blackbird: Just don't let Bart near your memoirs like Daddy did.

And so, having achieved all my goals as president in two terms, there was no need for a third.

Decision Points? That is something I can hear him say. "We're gonna call it, ah, Decision Points. Because it's all about the... you know... *blink blink blink* decisiony points of my life."

Talking Points
would be more honest, but who'd expect honesty from W?

If you get enough Decision Points, you'll eventually get to level 2 and gain the title "Deciderer."

TFA fails to mention how large the of a font will be used, and whether or not this is going to be a pop-up book.

I think there should be a general rule that if you don't read books, you shouldn't be allowed to write books.

But he read LOTS of books. I remember him saying that...in broken English.

Well, he is crappy president, but he sure can DECIDE.

Ah yes, the "Cover Your Ass" screed, popular with failures, incompetents, and liars of all stripes and colors... I look forward to reading this ghost-written work of fiction, and having a good chuckle.

Hey, Bush was there for all 8 years of the Cheney administration, he should know.

At least Bush has actually managed to get something published. So he's got that on you.

Blathering Idjut 2009-03-19 10:37:14 AM
At least Bush never needed a teleprompter!

Or something.

Bulk sales FTW!

What a waste of trees and paper. Couple hundred thousand copies collecting dust at the RNC HQ.

I feel kinda bad for the guy. Imagine knowing 3/4 of the nation thinks you suck? I know there are people that don't like me but thankfully I'm not told exactly how unlikable I am (well, +/-3%)

This will be a poor attempt at cya and he'll make millions off of it. Go USA.

Um, he read all of them, any of them that had been in front of him over all those years.

I'm pretty sure that anything written by Pocket Ninja would be vastly more entertaining. It's not his fault he wasn't born into a legacy, you know?

I remember when Nixon died they talked bout how he spent the rest of his life in depression and at points was seen as suicidal.

I imagine someone even less mature will go through even worse bouts with that.

Death to America 2009-03-19 10:45:16 AM
Unless the title of it is called "I'm sorry" I doubt I will pick it up.

I think you have a marketting concept right there. You could probably make a quick buck if you can get a TP company to print the whole thing on a roll.

Holy crap! A 'choose your own adventure' book about GW? I want one. Do you know if it's Spanish or American?

Tell Bush that it's being published "as a scroll"

Well, then, Pocket Ninja shouldn't have any trouble getting something published, should he? Sure, it helps, buu don't have to be famous to get something published.

I'm guessing its a fake, look at the authors name. Why would anyone want that shiat job?

/ I guess it would afford him other interesting opportunities.

"Choose your own madness. You are the protagonist in this novel! Choose from 15.642 possible endings. YOU ARE GEORGE BUSH"

Or something like that.

I'm noticing this thing where you take every opportunity to denigrate someone who is purportedly beneath you professionally. You should probably get that checked out.

" . . . and that's when the planes hit. Knowing the fate of the free world rests on your shoulders, you make your next move.

-If you get out of your chair and get an initial assessment of the damage done, so as to coordinate rescue and recovery efforts, turn to page 3

-If you get out of your chair and get an initial intelligence report to better understand the threat and defend against the possibility of more attacks, turn to page 13

-If you sit there reading a childrens book instead of attending to your duties as commander in cheif, kill yourself"
