Sometimes weed makes me paranoid too.

Sid_6.7 [TotalFark] 2009-03-15 05:38:04 PM
Drug agents say the bags weighed a total of nearly 65 pounds.

65 lbs. = 1040 oz.

1040 oz. * $400/oz. * (War on Drugs Special Markup) = Street Value of $2,080,000.

Four 55 gallon trash bags only weighed 65lbs? I'll bet it was nothing but stems and leaves.
Someone was disposing of the waste from their home growing operation after harvesting the buds.
It's not like you put that stuff out in front of your house for the trashman.

Epsilon [TotalFark] 2009-03-15 06:00:03 PM
1) I didn't even know 55 gallon trash bags existed, so I learned something new today.
2) Surely the cops will put the total value of the weed at close to $100 million, because everyone normally pays $96,000 for an ounce.

it was sure a bummer that they lost those 3 55 gallon bags full of stuff...

It's a good thing that they were successful in securing those 2 55 gallon bags.

this is old news. it wasn't that long ago that drug cartels were using empty subdivision roads to make deliveries by airplane.
The same roads that smokey and the bandit were filmed on.

Yeah, that 30gal bag of weed could have caused big problems if it hit the street.

Wow, after the police place a value on that much weed it will be worth enough to pay off the national debt.

So, the deal is we're driving up into the jungle with a guy we don't even know who's wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night. We should hand him our wallets and slit our own throats.

That's how it's done. I won't even post unless some of the better people are around. And what's up with all the pot threads lately?
Well, I'm off now--not going to waste my verbal talents on this thread.

Could you imagine what would happen if some lowlife got a hold of that 15 gallon bag? I'd hate to see him sell that 5 gallons of weed to our children. There is something wrong in this world, I think, when I fear that my child might be bringing home -10 gallons worth of weed.

Ok, you officially win, please pick up your prize if -25 gallons of weed at 1600 Pennsylvania Blvd, DC.

Well, now it is the police's responsibility to dispose of the pot. I suggest that they get everyone in the department together (must have lost of witnesses to ensure that this stuff is 'properly' disposed of) and throw it on a large bonfire. I'm sure they will want to stand real close to the bonfire as it burns because its cold out this time of year (cold, yeah that's the reason...)

What the hell is a solid waste department anyway?

I don't want to be in his bunk tonight.....

Duh, they dispose of SOLID waste.
There's also a LIQUID waste department, a GASEOUS waste department, and an ECTOPLASM waste department.
The vacuum waste department cleans up what's left.

I love pot threads!
How low can the oz. count go?
It has yet to be discovered here on Fark.
Ya know...I threw out a half a joint in Ocala, wonder what happened to it.
