I was hoping for an Ides of March thread. Even at university most people don't recall the ides of March. However roman political history generally isn't a strong suit for engineering students.

I make them solve a nonlinear differential equation that can only be numerically simulated to find a Goedel number which after decomposition gives the month, date, and year. Nobody has attended my birthday party in years for some reason. I blame the American educational system!
