I thought Obama produced a birth certificate. Then again, the GOP tends to ignore proof that they're full of shiat.

Shouldn't this be in the form of an Amendment?

Ahh the GOP.
They're so used to winning by cheating, they remain dumbfounded by someone who didn't, and obsessively try to prove he did.

"Opponents of President Bush used the 2000 election results and the court decisions to question the legitimacy of President Bush to serve as President," Posey said in a statement. "Opponents of President Obama are raising the birth certificate issue as a means of questioning his eligibility to serve as president. Neither of these situations are healthy for our Republic."

Hmmmm... let's see if I can spot the difference between the two of these. Hmmm.... disputed election results in a state governed by the candidate's brother, or morons who believe(d) that Barrack Obama is a secret muslim sleeper agent with potential to be elected to highest office of power in the world. Hmmmm.... what is the difference here, I just don't see it.

One was a republican destined to lead america into greatness, the other is an evil baby killing democrat.

Its like they're trying to prove he doesn't exist. I think there is some strange cocktail of prescription drugs being consumed by these people. They are utterly delusional.

Dear GOP,

Just kill yourselves. Do it now. It's for the good of humanity. Eat a bullet, suck on a tailpipe, swallow a bottle of oxycontin, whatever it takes. You are all too pig-ass stupid to go on living.

This guy is a piker. I am about to propose legislation that a Republican must be present at every Democratic birth from now on. A picture of said evil baby with afterbirth and the Republican witness will be kept on file in the Library of Congress.

CNN reports that Posey has submitted a bill to require all presidential candidates to submit a birth certificate -- which Posey says is needed in order to remove this issue as a reason to question any president's legitimacy.

Until it's claimed that the birth certificate is forged despite all evidence to the contrary. This solves nothing; this is pure and utter butthurt and I hate using that word but that's exactly what this is.

Hmm. You're right. While I'm at it, I'd also like video footage of the birth, complete with a nurse holding up the front page of that day's newspaper. It should also contain the Mayor making an official statement that the baby in question is without a doubt being born in the United States. It's the only way to make sure.

jpo2269 2009-03-14 03:06:27 PM
Did any of your RTFA?

When I read the tag line I was like "not this shiat again," but if you read the article, this congressman is not challenging the president's location of birth, instead he wants to take away a stupid distraction from a particular set of jackasses.

cowsspinach [TotalFark] 2009-03-14 03:07:08 PM

Yes, his motives are pure and should be accepted at face value.

DubyaHater 2009-03-14 03:09:38 PM
Somebody needs to post that picture of Patric Stewart with his hand out saying, "Not this shiat again". Seems appropriate. I thought this controversy was put to bed months ago

Eh. Maybe its just me but I don't really see this as an act of malice. I mean, the only people who honestly believe Obama can't produce a birth certificate would probably wear their pants on their heads without assistance, and this is a safe way to kill the rumors and all.

Well, kill the rumors based on ignorance and not ill-will.

While I don't know of the particular congressman, I have no reason to question his motives. It is a moot point, this bill will not see the light of day in the HOR.

Still not good enough for me. I want the video to include R. Kelly peeing on a 15 yer old girl while she holds up her ID for the camera and R. Kelly's grandmother and a cop verify his identity.

Fact 1: I have never physically held in my hands a real birth certificate for Barack Obama.

Fact 2: I have never physically held in my hands a real birth certificate for Jesus of Nazareth.

Thus, I think we can safely conclude that Obama really is the second coming, born of a virgin mother.

This can't be still happening.

Republicans, please understand that you need to stop all of this ridiculous behavior. Really, it's getting quite sad.

How can anyone actually take this bunch of clowns seriously?

To still be a Republican today, you are an idiot. Not because of your beliefs, but because the people in charge of the party are truly lost.

I can't wait for the moran brigade to spaz all over this.

Yeah, like the Warren Report ended the JFK assassination controversy? Nope.. The tinfoil brigade will exist regardless to what info is presented. The birthers currently believe that Obama didn't go to Hawaii to visit his dying grandmother - he was there to bribe state officials into creating a fake certificate for him. Now they think any certificate he presents in the future will be the fraud that Linda Lingle (!) helped him make! Nothing he presents will be good enough. And for the record, HI birth certificates really do look like they were created in a junior high tech lab. Nonetheless, we've had no trouble getting passports, etc with ours.

If anyone believes that the CIA, FBI and the cast of 24 did not go through Obama's records with a fine-toothed comb when he ran for President, they may need a tinfoilectomy.

Always Bring A Banana To A Party 2009-03-14 03:47:41 PM
Hey GOP, here's some advice if you seriously want to salvage what is left of your party and identity. Instead of doing the xenophobe thing which your patrons are all too cozy with, get out of your comfort zone for once and go the other way with this line of thought. I have heard the GOP representatives themselves state that they are looking to think outside the box, so here's some ecto-capsum food for thought.

Since you claim that Obama is foreign born, how about using this "fact" (really big farking quotation marks) to leverage congress to introduce a bill to repeal the requirement that all presidential candidates be natural born. The democrats would go for it since it would get the GOP to finally quit whining about this and because they are supposedly cheese eating surrender monkeys who have a Pavlovian reaction to bend over at the suggestion of any type of foreign insertion. That would open up the possibility for this guy to run in 2012 hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com

And of course when he gets elected he'll bring about that judgment day you have all been salivating over. Hollywood told me so.

Well yeah:

That birth certificate is as real as the one posted below it. There is not a birth certificate. His mother was a citizen of the US. Therefore he is a citizen. It does not matter where he was born. Yes, he was born in Hawaii.
