While the Bush/chimp image made me laugh at first too, on further reflection it's kinda stupid. After all, he (and all of us) are about 98% chimp in a genetic sense. They're our closest living relatives. It seems completely reasonable that we'd resemble one another.

After watching the recent BBC version of "Bleak House" where every actor was filmed in screen-filling close-ups, I have to say some people are just really chimpy looking. Mr. Deadlock and Guppie especially. Something about the way their mouth protrudes and the type of wrinkling on the upper lips. This is especially funny in the case of Deadlock who is the very model of an aristocratic lord, but still looks damn apish.
