When Rob Zombie toured with Ozzy a couple years ago his drummer had a perfect solo spot - it was simple, energetic, not too flashy and only about a minute long. He got the crown amped up for the next song and went right into it.

If you're gonna solo on anything, it should be quick & to the point. Flash some skill & keep the concert moving.

i dont like rush at all. but i never knock them. i know they're all skilled musicians. i have a thing to never try an beat up on any band that write their own songs. i will say i dont like their songs... but not "they suck". because lets face it... how many of you can sit down and write a song that other people are willing to listen to?
