Subby the guy is the head speechwriter for the President of the United States at 27! What ever your politics, that is one hell of an accomplishment. Your petty jealousy is unbecoming.

FTA:
Favreau's own public speaking career began at age 2, when, according to his mother, Lillian, he was able to recite " 'Twas the Night Before Christmas" from beginning to end-with only a little prompting along the way. She kept a tape for posterity.

poor guy

FTFA:

Though Favreau mostly works out of the limelight, he had an unwelcome brush with celebrity in December after a Facebook photo surfaced of him at a party groping a cardboard cut-out of Hillary Clinton-a bit of clowning for which he quickly apologized.

Facebook, frat party, mind-reading, ad nauseum. I'd say the Dow is in for another dip on Monday as the adults with money to invest find some nice 'safe haven' country, like Venezula or Cuba, to invest in.

That guy is so money.

/not really
//watches too much west wing
///good for a tv script, not for a president

I'll bet they have to run his speeches through a word filter to edit out every instance of the word 'dude.'

You know who else had a good speech writer?

/That's right, Kennedy

He has to buy a new keyboard every month because he wears out the "r" and the "e":

responsibility
recovery
redistribution

Funny, I don't remember the decades of tax cuts for the rich referred to as 'redistribution of wealth' by politicians or the media. Oh yeah, maybe that's because they are rich people, and their base is rich people.

Sure am glad the rich minority have their voices heard when it comes to what this administration should do. Can we ask more CEOs of HMOs how we should run health care, or more failed CEOs of banks on how we should deal with the economic crisis? Or maybe we could ask more Republicans what our foreign policy should be or what we should do domestically.

I think you're unclear on the concept here.

redistribution means taxing the rich at a higher rate. After the Bush tax cuts, the rich were still getting taxed at a higher rate. Getting taxed at "less of a higher rate" is not taking money out of the pockets of people who make less, it's taking less extra money out of the pockets of people who make more.

Hope that clears it up for ya.

P.S. I think all the dems who whine about repubs taking stimulus money they don't like should offer to pay extra taxes every year out of their own pockets to cover interest+principal on the BORROWED MONEY for the stimulus, until the money is PAID BACK. Starting with the hot-air fathead Paul Begala, who should pay double for being a loudmouthed nimrod.

If they did that, everyone who didn't like the stimulus who gladly let them spend the money any way they want.

Dems: It's a Bush recession!
Repubs: OK, we'll go along with that for awhile...so when's it going to become Obama's recession?
Dems: B-b-but Bush!
Repubs: Yeah, we blew it on that one. Total numbnuts.
Dems: Chimpy McFlighsuit!
Repubs: That was pretty good, actually...but, even so, about that recession...
Dems: Whargarbbl!
Repubs: Oooooookay, time for a beer and a shower.
Dems: Pancakes!
Repubs: What?
Dems: Sarah Palin is the anti-christ! Rush Limbaugh speaks for you! Fairness Doctrine! Proposition 8!
Repubs: Aren't you out of talking points yet?
Dems: Never! Our ceaseless ridicule of your beliefs and your values ensures you'll never accumulate enough of a voice to challenge our dominance of what the people don't yet know they want!
Repubs: Well, you still have to run the country, so good luck with that.
Dems: Wait, what?
