Really? How many farkers will get this reference? It was kind of a stretch at being funny anyway.

That's like making references to George Bush being a moran and asking if it's obscure.

I agree that it was a stretch at being funny, but it's not really obscure, I figure most people will get it.

not terribly obscure, unless you're under 20

Make sure you catch Blue Boy, and then double the fun with episodes of Adam-12.

30 years ago, when personal fax machines first became cost-effective, "Just the fax" became a cliche. But personal fax machines are now so old school that even the cliche has died. Let this be a lesson to you all. I'm not sure what it is, though.

Spiffy? Seems as though the murderer sent the fax. How is that spiffy?

It's spiffy that they found a dead woman in the trunk of her car? What you're smoking, subby. Send me some, immediately. By fax.

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that they disclosed facts that might out the anonymous tipster? The police could have just said that had a tip and kept the details until the suspects were caught.

I an era were everything is traceable, going down to Kinkos and including the clue in boring-looking fax seems brilliant. Kinkos doesn't ask for ID to send a fax.

Actually, he could have gotten laid but turned her down because he was married. She was really hot, BTW. What ever happened to her?

Loved the reference(s?), but jaquariously, what part of "anonymous tip" don't the cops understand? They solicit "anonymous tips" and then, once they receive them, try to out the tipster and put them in jeopardy by writing their name down on a police report. Then they biatch about not getting many tips. Let's face it: the cops are farking retarded, and if it weren't for tips they wouldn't solve any crimes. Also, has it occurred to the cops that maybe whoever faxed this tip doesn't want to be the next one to end up dead in a trunk?

Finally, have you guys seen those "Crime Stoppers" tiplines on the news? They say you'll be anonymous, then they say there's a reward. If you anonymously tip, then how do you claim your reward. Very clever, guys: with an attitude like that, no tips for you.
