If only there were some way to get your message out anonymously, using computers linked all around the world so it wouldn't get traced back to you.

Score one for the FCC.

/How many times have you read THAT lately?

I don't care for drugs or gangs or prostitutes but operators of this radio station deserve a HERO tag.

Also there should be more provisions for publicly accessible low power FM/AM broadcasting, even if it is only used for crap like this. If hooligans corner the market on insipid fluff the big companies would be forced to broadcast in the public interest like their FCC license requires.

God forbid the public should be able to make use of its own airwaves!

Don't you understand that the Board of Directors at Clear Channel have children to put through Yale so they can rule over us later? How are they supposed to be able to do that if you Communists deny them your spectrum. It is the DUTY of every American to GIVE their capital over to big corporations so they can profit. It's in the Constitution. look it up.

Yes, because the biggest threat to our inner cities isn't drugs and gang violence, it's ClearChannel.

There is no such thing as pirate radio if you are under 100 watts. No license required. Before you cheer the station for fighting the system get you facts straight. Ignorant farkers talking like they know something like normal.

yossarian reznor 2009-03-07 06:47:15 PM
Drugs wouldn't cause trouble if they were legal, and thus no longer providing criminals with a stream of revenue. Al Capone was only possible because of prohibition.

If they were broadcasting from the same place at predictable times it is pretty easy to figure out where RF signals are coming from.

That was kinda what I was wondering.

If something like this was going on, and I was a cop, I'd be listening to where the deals were going down, driving out there with some fellow officers, and busting the people who were actually a serious threat.

The only really bad thing I could see in the broadcasts were the "advertisements" for "violent gangs." (What, mention this promotion code when you join the crips and get a free tattoo and gun?) Even that could be used to infiltrate a gang or at least catch some gang members, though.
