Why does Fark resize some pics and throw others away because they're too large?

ZAZ [TotalFark] 2009-03-07 07:42:45 AM
I think "too large" means file size in bytes, not image size in pixels. The size limit came in response to huge animated GIFs in photoshop contests.

C.W. McCall is a trucker, see, and "Country and Western" is his call name. He sings of the rights of all truckers to bust through roadblocks if they so choose.

+1 Subby! CW McCall is just so awesome. My 4th grade teacher used to run jeep tours with Mr. Fries around Ouray during the summers in the 70's. Lots of great pictures.

Well, we laid a strip for the Jersey Shore
Prepared to cross the line

We just ain't a gonna pay no toll
So we crashed the gate doin' 98
I says let them truckers roll
Ten-Four

If you are referring to the Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado, it is a pretty cool place to take a couple of young kids camping in the woods near a stream. I was able to place a small rock dam for the littlest son to play in the stream at while I sat near reading a good book. In a week's time, didn't even see a sinlge other person. Those were the days.

Hell, we're just out of a scandal-ridden Republican president associated with excessive secrecy, an unpupolar war and easy money and into a young, idealistic big-spender. We've got a banking crisis, a recession and inflation on the horizon.

Survived the 70's? We're in the 70's.

Yes, but then it all falls apart because the current, conservative, charismatic governor of California cannot ascend to the presidency.

The chain is broken.
