I'm pretty sure its policy at WND that you have to snort a fat rail of meth before writing an article.

Everyone is in on the conspiracy, except for a handful of brave patriots blogging furiously in their pajamas, through a haze of Cheeto dust, flop-sweat, fear, and delusion.

Snoeps is left-wing now? It seems usually apolitical, and when it does offer a political opinion, it generally seems to be somewhat right-of-center, even by American standards. Not exactly CPAC-esque, but hardly Kos-like, either.

But I suppose these days anything that doesn't slavishly recite the official wharrgarbl cant lovingly ladeled out to the world by Limbaugh Coulter Malkin LLC is considered outright communist.

Yes. Keep in mind that WND's definition of reality is:

Reality (noun) - A leftist bastardization of God's original plan, which no longer conforms with our expectations due to evildoers like Satanists, gays, George Soros, and the Teletubbies.

Diogenes [TotalFark] 2009-03-06 07:02:10 PM
First Pelosi makes me agree with Pence (re: Fairness Doctrine) and now WND is making me agree with Kyl. And they are two of my most despised Republicans.

Will you people stop making me agree with these scumbags?

# Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes headlines a list of people filing a suit in California, in a case handled by the United States Justice Foundation, that asks the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. The case is pending, and lawyers are seeking the public's support.

Pretty sure that ship has already sailed

Actually during the 2004 election I noticed that Snopes had a definite tilt to the right. There were several articles about John Kerry that were obvious bullshiat to anyone with a passing knowledge of them. Snopes always classified the authenticity of these as "undetermined". Any negative article about George W. Bush was intantly debunked and given the "false" tag.

Separating truths from falsehoods is now, officially, a left-wing activity.

Glad that was finally settled. Why are any Republicans still in office, at all?

As I explained above Snopes does have a political bias, to the right! They bent over backwards to debunk every Bush story during the 2004 election, but couldn't be bothered to debunk the Swift Boat Liars.

And if Fox News ever congratulates Obama on doing a good job, the same nuts will consider Fox News to be part of the liberal media.

And then the farking world explodes.

Jesus Christ is there no end to the states that Alan Keyes will claim residence in for attention? How in the hell does he have standing to take a piss in California, let alone sue with respect to the Electoral College?

Bingo. Think about all the ultra-retarded emails you have received over the years that were forwarded by the dumbest coworkers or members of your family. I can't think of a single one that could be fairly characterized as liberal or left-leaning in any way. Instead, it has been experience that there are only two kinds: (1) Obviously conservative; or (2) Completely unrelated to politics (like the dumb emails saying Microsoft will donate a million dollars to medical research if the email gets forwarded a million times). In either case, someone has to waste a lot of time debunking them, and that someone is usually snopes. So of course they end up with a lot of pages on their web site devoted to debunking all the lies that conservatives are constantly spreading.

Mr. Coffee Nerves [TotalFark] 2009-03-06 10:48:15 PM
One by one, every site will fall to the left-wing -- that is, acknowledge facts -- until the only "trustworthy" sites remaining will be Free Republic, World Net Daily and Conservapedia.

They'll eat themselves.
