I enjoyed VR with Weiland, at least the first album - his voice is amazing. I'd have loved to hear Cornell trying it out (though his register's a bit dodgy... check out him trying to do some Rage stuff on YouTube with Audioslave - WRONG)... be interesting to see who they bring in and how well it works out.

The lead singer of Collective Soul would be a good fit. The CS hits from the mid 90s would keep the crowd entertained in between GNR and the stuff from Contraband.

Sorry but IMO Scott Weiland is one of the most overrrated musicians related to the grunge/rock scene in the 90s.
