Good to see that there was an actual response from local government, but it shouldn't take an act of god just to get a response from the local parks and rec department.

the proper solution would be to charge more reasonable fees to everyone using indoors gyms. those things cost some coin to maintain, and those who make use of them should chip in some. but 4 bucks for 45 min is ridiculous, given that they can play all day for 5 bucks elsewhere.

I don't know why this guy got all angry; it's obvious by him being Asian, that he can afford to pay the fee. Everybody knows that all Asians are rich. Likewise, people that normally play basketball as a hobby, aren't as well off, and shouldn't have to pay. That seems to be the theme with the way we are all treated, now....
