Higgins: All right, Eliza, say it again.

Eliza: '"The rine in Spine...'
Eliza: "...stais minely in the pline.'"

Higgins: '"The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.'"

Eliza: Didn't I saiy that?

Higgins: No, Eliza, you didn't '"saiy'" that. You didn't even '"say'" that.
Higgins: Every night before you go to bed, where you used to say your prayers... I want you to say:

Higgins: '"The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.'" Fifty times.

Higgins: You'll get much further with the Lord if you learn not to offend His ears.

Higgins: Now for your '"H's.'" ... Pickering, this is going to be ghastly.

Doesn't really work as a tounge twister because the S in Spanish is followed with the consonont sound while the others all had a vowel sound.

/but just so you don't think I am a total pedant let me say that I would definitely poke a lot of Spanish chicks. Even if they were socialists.

//but probably not on the plain in the rain

Zapatero has done wonderful things to advance the country socially, but economic forces as usual will scare people into abdandoning social progression and revert to more reactionary ways. This property bust has been hounding the PSOE for years now, and I think in the next national elections Rajoy might finally win. If that's the case, look for more terrorism in Spain.

No, it means that the autonomous communities of Spain are sick and tired of Zapatero's bullshiat. So sick and tired that they'd actually turn to the PP-- offshoot for Franco's sycophants.

Karma Chameleon: Zapatero has done wonderful things to advance the country socially,

JAJA! Sure, if you mean promising shiat and not giving it. I'll hand it to him that he was trying to deal with ETA, and that was a good idea until it wasn't. And he pulled the troops out of Iraq. But what on Earth are you talking about?
