So, to get the ball rolling, we can all see that she kicked her left shoe out of the cell. From the video it does not appear to have been aimed at Schene (he's off to the right) and just before the attack, she appears to be positioning her foot to take off her right shoe.

Anyone want to take bets that he ordered her to remove her shoes and she was just a little too defiant/smartarsed for his taste?

Wow. I really expected that to have taken place at the Harris County Jail, Houston, Texas.

Spent some quality time there, and saw my fair share of "suspects" getting the crap beat out of them.

One kid from Korea, visiting relatives in Houston, started sobbing in the holding tank. Deputies came in, grabbed him, and started beating him on the way down the hall to a single cell. The kid started yelling in real pain over the sounds of beating. A minute later, three more deputies ran down the hall with flashlight/batons, with one of them yelling, "Hang on! I want some of this too!" The sounds of beating and crying continued.

A few hours later, the kid was put back in with the rest of us. His face was hamburger and both arms and hands were in casts.

We were all very quiet.

Hope he gets a good treatment like this in prison. He'll be the prison biatch for years to come.

I just looked up police officer prosecutions for my state and all who were convicted went to "regular" prison, though they may have been protected when they were in there. I don't know why a cop deserves some protection not afforded to other people.

Most of the time the cops end up going to regular prison, but they are put in administrative segregation. If they were to get put in the gen pop, they'd be dead within a month.

It's not in this version, but a longer tape shows him coming back in the cell and looking around. I wonder what he's coming back in to look for? Blood? for some reason I find that almost as incriminating as the actual beating. Is he picking her hair up off the floor?

The other cops at the station probably want this guy to hang from the rafters just like everyone else. That being said, it's almost impossible to get a group of people to turn on their own, especially when it comes to a group as polarized as the police.

There are 6 federal prisons that have yards reserved for former law enforcement. Most states transfer their former cops there after they have been to "regular prison" for classification.

All the video shows is a shoe being kicked off and flung towards the cop. We don't know what she said to the cop either. I'm guessing if she calling him a farking pig, I would be upset too but the way he grabbed her and threw her to the ground seems a little excesive to me.

Really, why would this video inflame public opinion? The video should clearly show what the officer said, that the girl was a threat to the officer and he was defending himself. Oh wait...the video does not show that.
