(Spinner) Cool Poker tournaments would definitively be more exciting to watch if it was Anthrax' Scott Ian playing against Slash, Kirk Hammett, Alice In Chains' Jerry Cantrell and Pantera' Vinnie Paul   (spinner.com) divider line 15

No, no they wouldn't.

Yeah, no.

That said, Ian and Sully Erna are pretty damned good players.

I would enjoy watching them play poker about as much as I would enjoy watching professional poker players have a jam out session.

Yeah, but - if they get talking, imagine the supergroup you'd have.

The rock stars, not the poker players.

This.

Celebrities don't make poker watchable, in fact, they do the exact opposite.

I can't wait for the ocho to broadcast Vern Troyer playing checkers against Bridgette Neilsen.

Chuck Liddell. he was very bad.

I don't want to watch noobs play poker and more than I want to watch noobs play music. It is just stupid and makes me want to pull my hair out.

This isn't gambling. They will all get paid - even when they lose.

Just another Attention Whore Sellout Reunion Tour®...

if you know how to play texas hold'em and get stoned enough, watching poker on TV can be kind of engrossing

but then again, so would watching paint dry

You idiots. It's a virtual game. Not even the guys sitting around a table in the flesh.

Watch them on TV? No thanks. Play on the internet? F-that, yahoo pool is more fun. Sit at an 8 person full table in the same room with the intent that it's supposed to go for a few hours? Where's the devil and his contract when I need him...but only if there are no cameras. No recording.

Every home game I've played in can be serious card wise but heavy on the social part. But it's a private thing - some of the stories and jokes and talk is the type of stuff that never really leaves the room. But yeah, forget watching. I'd want to be at that table, listening, laughing, playing and living it up.

Once won a big pot with a flush...after flipping the cards to show the flush, was asked "Who the hell plays out a 7-2 to the river like that?" My reply was honest. "But they were suited!" And then the drinks did flow and the game went on.

/Would have a brain embolism if after the game they all went to play Rockband instead of into a home studio
//Would take my poker winnings and put them on the line for some guitar duels
///Hey Slash that's a nice Corvette...

hopefully Cantrell will somehow lose the new AiC singer in a bet and the band's legacy won't be ruined
