He just played at Universal's Mardi Gras concert series last weekend. I passed. So far, we've had KC and the Sunshine Band, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, and The Village People.

Very "street" company you have there.

1) Ne-Yo is not a rapper
2) Ne-Yo is not talentless

Ne-Yo is an R&B artist, not a rapper.. but I suppose the submitter knows that, I will suppose everyone on Fark knows the difference between the two as well-unless you're a dolt.

NeYo is actually pretty entertaining. Saw him open for Alicia Keyes and was impressed.

Get it right white boy. Ne-Yo is an RnB artist and is light years ahead of the nasally no talent losers you people call "rockers" these days.

Can't say I'm a fan, but calling him a rapper? Really? Is Darius Rucker a rapper too?

To those who say this guy is not a rapper--perhaps he isn't; that's not the point. I (and I was not alone) was commenting of the absurd redundancy of using the adjective 'talentless' in front of the noun 'rapper'.

Yo, yo, yo, Mofo.

Ahh, this old saw. Tired, old, untrue. Similar to the people who spout it repeatedly.

Rapping does take tremendous talent at the higher levels, just like anything else you might not like.

Let me guess what's coming next. Can't spell crap without rap? You guys are so witty.

Hmmm. One the one hand you're probably just trolling. In which case, bravo. If you are even slightly serious and you'd like to discuss this issue and eliminate the ignorance which is now on display (again, only if you're serious) let me know.

Rappers do have talent, some of them have tons of talent. It might not be the kind of talent you find worthwhile, but it's talent nonetheless.

I wasn't trolling. I'll concede your point, however. Rappers may have talent, but a talent that I can't see or appreciate. I daresay you could pick a genre of music, call it talentless, and I could make the same argument you did. Fair enough?

wow. racial profiling and straight up ignorance in a headline that gets a green light. makes me GLAD that I'm a liter.
NEWSFLASH : NOT ALL AFRICAN - AMERICANS ARE RAPPERS
PART 2 : NE-YO IS NOT A RAPPER

BTW, he SO trips off my Gaydar alarms (NTTAWWT)
