In an ironic twist, Midnight Oil to open with "Beds are Burning".

Iva Davies from Icehouse looks just a bit different from back in the Electric Blue days...

I'll pay them $500,000 to set fire to that untalented jackhole and keep him burning til he is dead.

The Gurus didn't just reunite; they have been back together for a few years.

The Gurus are cooler than your favorite band.

I had no idea Peter Garrett was a Federal Minister.

Hoodoo Gurus may well be the most underrated band of all time

seen em in a small venue on the Magnum Cum Louder tour back in 88. GREAT SHOW

Wait, where's INXS, The Church and Split Enz?

AlfreidoSponge: In an ironic twist, Midnight Oil to open with "Beds are Burning".

They actually have a song called "Bush Fire". And it ain't bad.

Didn't the singer for the Hoodoo Gurus pass away a year or two ago? I forgot about Hunters & Collecters...they had one song I really liked in the 80's but I forgot what it was.

Always preferred this one myself:

Stand in Line (new window)

Damn, Rob Hirst was an amazing drummer.

the Oils are one of the best bands I've ever seen live. I was close to the front on the earth sun and moon tour and this giant bald guy kept flinging his sweat off his head into the front rows. Awesome live band. Their last album was really good too.

Dave F is still alive, they had a bassist that died back in the early eighties
